St Mawes is far from a hidden secret. Many people visit year on year to enjoy the blue waters and bobbing around in a boat in the harbour.
For me, it’s always where me and the brand new ‘Mrs Lord’ celebrated our wedding. We had the ceremony near Falmouth then hopped on the ferry over to St Mawes for the reception with a small crowd of friends and family.
Every street and corner of St Mawes reminds me of that day and always will. A truly magical moment full of happiness and pride. Thank you for always being there Becky, you are a marvel and I'm so proud of you. Thank you for all you do for us x

All my favourite views, and such a beautiful story. I didn’t know you had spent your wedding day here 🥹 We walked through St Mawes on our wedding day too (married at St Just). It was the Working Boat Champs and Gig Regatta on the same day. The village was packed with happy people as I walked through in my long dress. Such wonderful memories 🤍
