I’ve been sitting on the print idea for so many years, I couldn’t find my very first sketch references. I had always loved the High Desert color palette of soft sage greens, vibrant yellows & oranges, lavenders and pinks, but something was missing… Until I happened to find some posts about Antelope being in this same area in the Eastern Sierra above Mono Lake. I had loads of Antelope photos from my trips to Wyoming, so… Yep! It was missing tiny Antelope butts all along! Ready for a first print after a very quick first carve!
