B.E.A.R. Box Elder Accountability Referendum

This was taken tonight, October 20th, at the Utah County Planning Commission meeting. You may have seen the video of Aspen @protect.utah being taken to the ground by an officer, with her jaw hitting the floor.
But I want you guys to see what happened leading up to that.

Tonight, they voted yes on a proposal to allow data centers as a permitted use in mining and grazing and industrial zones, and create a data center overlay zone.

After receiving hundreds of letters asking them to vote no. After weeks of hearing our statements. After people kept showing up and speaking out.

They heard us, and they voted to move it forward anyway. That feels like a blatant disregard for the people who showed up.

And when people had something to say about that decision, this is how it was handled.

Aspen is spending tonight in jail after the officer, at least double her size, slammed her face to the ground.
