Here is the trailer for the “The Social Room” film. An attempt against this maladie that saturates all aspects of human life. "The Social Room" Superterram, Voltaire Space, París 2023 This theatre piece takes a symbolic reference — the space of isolation in which we find ourselves when we use digital social media — and transforms it into a physical space as a sociological experiment. Olivia inhabited _The Social Room_ for two weeks in a space open to the public. The only way to interact with Olivia was actively through social networks (the contact information was painted on the facade) and passively through a view-scope from which one could observe Olivia in her daily life. This piece is intended as a direct critique of the alienation and deep addiction generated by how we use social media; a synthetic substitute for our relational behavior amongst each other and with the world. ENG: Here is a chapter of an on going series of short films. We recorded during our stay in “Las Tresmil,” the southern periphery of Sevilla while painting two murals in “Los Verdes.” SP: Este es un capítulo de una serie de cortometrajes en curso. Lo grabamos durante nuestra estancia en “Las Tresmil”, la periferia sur de Sevilla mientras pintábamos dos murales en “Los Verdes”. ENJOY YOUR PROBLEMS -- I took this photo in Ferizaj, Kosovo, of a lady that walked by. She was nice enough to pose. Coming from a context like Kosovo, and someone of her age. I can't help but think what does that mean to this person particularly and what does wearing this shirt represent. The dark humor, the wit, the maturity, the courage it takes to wear this shirt. Not because of the shirt itself but because of the person. Or because somehow I felt like this could have been one of the morals to be learnt. -- Especially on such an uncertain day like today. November 3rd, in the United States. During this brutal 1984 propaganda campaign of harassment and the dark days we are living in. I would say, whether you vote left or right, or you don't vote, let's treat each other with decency, respect, and exercise common sense. But most importantly, love each other. This episode is called "Inside". It is a collection of recordings that people sent me during the quarantine, from different places in the world. It's a storytelling and poetic narrative, that aims to bring us closer together in these times of distancing. It is the second episode of an ongoing series of audios, videos, text, and images I produce or collect and put together. Mundane is a journal of quotidian stories in our everyday life in the world we live in. This episode is composed of a collection of recordings that people sent me during the quarantine, from different places in the world. I hope you enjoy it. Miami Riot. 30th of May, 2020. Camera, editing, text, and music by AxelVoid. ASHES FERTILIZE THE ASPHALT It is neither good or bad, just natural that actions grant a response. The attempt of using this word as a dysphemism only shows the inherent fear of its content. It is not a coincidence that they equate "chaos in the streets" to anarchy. Anarchy is only the condition of Anarchism, this one being the doctrine or ideology. The word originates from Greek and signifies "an" (without) "arch" (rule). The key is to define what rule means in this context. Not understood as principles, laws, or guidance. But rather dominance and superiority. This is the abstraction that the ideology wills to be with-out. Society is nothing but a consensus, a common agreement. The question is: Why those who govern find the need to enforce this agreement? If it is in the best interest of all parties. And more importantly, why do they constantly violate it with impunity? This however does present a chaotic behavior. The response is only natural, thus harmonic.

Paco Ink on Passport 2010 Paco was a neighbor I had in Sevilla. We lived illegally in an old building that had once been a palace, but now was used as studios for traditional artisans and flamenco classes. The first time I met him he welcomed me naked and drunk in the hallway that connected our studios. As time passed we developed a friendship and I came to know him better and, at times, sober. I discovered that he was a cultured, calm and nice person. He ended up leaving before I did, I think because he didn't have enough money to pay the owner, who was starting to get upset. He told me that he had a daughter in Germany and that he was going to be with her. After he left a friend took his studio, and she gave me a box of things that he had left behind, amongst these things a passport. Even though this passport is a provisional one and he could travel just with his ID in Europe, I briefly met him again about a month later and knew that he never went to Germany. So I decided to do this fictional biography from the moment I met him till he reconciles with his daughter.

"Over a period of two weeks, Miami based artist @axelvoid invited roughly 15 artists from around the world to stay in his house to eat, sleep and create together. Throughout the experience the artists explored their relationship to the concept of "home" through their work. The residency culminates with the house transformed into a very special kind of exhibition." #homeless the latest #voidprojects concept has started production in Miami. The residency and following exhibition consider the idea of a home in a political, social or personal context. To address these ideas from the perspective of cultural heritage, identity and patriotism. This project is pertinent to a broader sense of commonality as well as a more introspective view of shelter and community 2nd - 3rd December. Void projects will also be showcasing as part of this years @juxtapozmag Clubhouse during Art Basel 5-9th December .
