We Who Belong has come to an end and I’m still processing how incredible this whole journey has been! 🥹 This project documents four distinct communities in Ghana, their resilience and their fortitude. Seeing it come together as a full exhibition, in a room full of people who felt it too, was something else. Prints can be found via the link in my bio. 20% of all sales will be going to charity 🙏🏾 Having my first solo exhibition in Fitzrovia, London is a major achievement, and none of it would have happened without some incredible people. Thank you to @sota_marketplace and @emma_lang_art for curating and presenting this body of work and for fulfilling the vision. Thank you to @nohostudios_ for the beautiful space that held it all. Ron Timehin's "We Who Belong" explores four distinct communities across Ghana through photography. From the Kaklamadu fishing community in Labadi and the Ga Wulomo, custodians of Ga spiritual traditions, to the historic fishing settlement of Jamestown and the communities of Akosombo in the Volta Basin, the project celebrates identity, heritage, and belonging while highlighting the unique challenges each community faces. Rio from a helicopter with the Sony 28-70mm f/2. 🤌🏾 What an unbelievable experience! Highly recommend seeing a destination from the skies when you get the chance! 👌🏾 What I loved about the Sony 28-70mm f/2 was the flexibility. Wide enough to capture coastlines and broader scenes, whilst having enough range to isolate subjects like Christ the Redeemer. Over the years, our #Changetheimage programme has championed so many different creatives, and we are so proud of them all. But it is hard to find a creator who has come as far as Ron has in the last few years. His work creates a safe space for people to exist and to be, and his photography is a beautiful way for people in the black, gay community to find their voice. ✨ Testing out the new Sony 28-70mm f/2 GM lens✨ Whilst in Dubai, I got my hands on the new 28-70mm f/2 GM lens and decided to test the focal range, sharpness and low light capabilities with some cityscape photography. 📸 It’s remarkably light despite all of the extra elements that it incorporates, making it a real contender as a lens suited to travel. 💪🏾 Also, having a lens that opens up to f/2 and is constant throughout its focal range really gives piece of mind when the light begins to fade. 👌🏾 Is this a lens you’d be interested in? 🤔 @sony.unitedkingdom #sonyeurope #alphauniversebysonyeu #a7r5 #2870f2 #sonyalpha #thechoiceofcreators #GMaster
