Tonight! Cult selector and Salon des Amateurs mystic 𝑽𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒎𝒊𝒓 𝑰𝒗𝒌𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒄 lands in Naarm. Known for his slow-motion sorcery behind the decks, Ivkovic’s sets feel like time dissolving. From the boat to the club, bending the beat until it chugs. Odd-music experts 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑫’𝒔𝒊𝒓𝒆 descend from Gadigal Land. A duo of chaotic elegance, unearthing the uncharted margins of dance music with sounds swinging between the floor and the fringe. 𝑬𝒙 𝑷𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒐 & 𝑳𝒂𝒍𝒊ć summon a cross-generational collision of post-punk spirit and ex-Yugoslav futurism, collapsing eras into one continuous signal. 𝑼𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒘𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒉 open the evening, a three-piece weaving folk pulse through noise and reverb, channelling voices that drift between tradition and transmission. 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒓𝒐 traverses roles of programmer, selector, and visual artist – flickering through left-field oddities, cross-collaged soundtracks, and no-wave currents that discard genre. On the Misc Rooftop, 𝑻𝒂𝒓𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒌 channels dubwise disorientation and experimental hybrid mysticism, weaving echoes of Roma sonic traditions, while 𝑰𝑽𝑨𝑨𝑵𝑨 bridges the night, threading dreamlike percussion and bass-heavy textures through the kafana haze. ☀️ Sun is shining. Come early, gather at the kafana, share a meal before the sun slips behind the city. ——— Saturday 1st November (6 PM – 3 AM) 🎟️ $20 before 8 PM / $40 after 8 PM 🍽️ Rooftop BBQ / Balkan Kafana from 7 PM Vladimir Ivkovic (YU) / @vladimir_ivkovic Ex Ponto & Lalić (live) / @ex____ponto____ @lalicmilinkovic IVAANA / @bellakocis sayro / @sayro_ma Tarquin Manek / @tarquin.manek.presense Uberwench (live) / @uwench Wings of D’sire / @dgradeknockoff @skinny.tony Presented by Miscellania × Totalno Zeleno! as part of the Springtime Weekender with Techworld. Tonight at Dim – a signal from Scorched Axis to Beograd. 𝑵𝒐𝒗𝒂 𝑽𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 (NO/ET) weaves percussion, samples and live improvisations into shifting electronic soundscapes and fractured experiments. 𝑶𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑱𝒐𝒆 (AU) brings his live set of ambient-dub revival, trip-hop shadows and shoegaze echoes stitched into spectral textures. 𝑺𝒐𝒇𝒕 𝑺 (AU) bends time through dreamlike loops spiralling into hypnosis — with mixes released on Animalia and Bleus, and four years broadcasting ‘𝙎𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢’ on Skylab Radio. Her selections trace the outer edges of trip-hop, dub and ambient. 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒓𝒐 (AU/RS) crosses roles of programmer, selector and visual artist, flickering through leftfield oddities, cross-collaged soundtracks and no-wave currents that discard genre altogether. — 📍 Cetinjska 15, Beograd 🎟 1000 RSD / door ⏰ 20:00–23:00 by @sayro_ma

Scorched Axis (AU) returns to Dim, summoning 𝑵𝒐𝒗𝒂 𝑽𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 from Copenhagen — the Norwegian–Ethiopian shapeshifter and 𝟻 𝙶𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚃𝚎𝚖𝚙𝚕𝚎 affiliate whose collages of glitch, percussion and voice fracture, dissolve, and roam through a spectrum of sounds unbound by genre. 𝑶𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝑱𝒐𝒆, beloved figure of the Oz underground and the mind behind .𝚓𝚙𝚎𝚐 𝙰𝚛𝚝𝚎𝚏𝚊𝚌𝚝𝚜, drifts through the haze with a live set where ambient-dub bleeds into smoke and shadowed shoegaze. Selectors 𝑺𝒐𝒇𝒕 𝑺 and 𝒔𝒂𝒚𝒓𝒐 spiral the current, weaving sound through the night. —— Thursday 25 September 📍 Cetinjska 15, Beograd 🎟️ 1000RSD Art by @soft___s & @sayro_ma Photo (slide 2): @s0lan_in by @sayro_ma

Playing some music tonight for the 𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐗𝐈𝐒 residency up at Rooftop Bar. 90 minutes of Ex-Yu selections sourced over the years from Beograd and beyond. Tracing the rich sonic tapestry of Ex-Yugoslav synth, post-punk and new wave releases across the Balkans. An ode to the forgotten sounds of underground basements, socialist discos, and late-night radio waves. ✾ 4ᴘᴍ - 5:30ᴘᴍ 📍ᴄᴜʀᴛɪɴ ʜᴏᴜꜱᴇ by @sayro_ma

Taking over Rooftop Bar, every Friday in Jan to celebrate the launch of Totalno Zeleno! Тотално Зеленo! is an archival research project turned independent record label, event and A/V series curated by sayro. TZ! aims to explore the diverse traditions and musical landscape of the complex cultural construct of the Balkans - inviting local selectors to shine a light on the melting pot of former Yugoslavia’s aural oddities, and the sounds from our neighbours to the East. Connecting peoples of the diaspora from Naarm/Melbourne. Anti-fascist sonics. ★ ★ ★ Art by sayro by @sayro_ma
