Episode 400 of Synthesize Me tonight from 12-2am!

We are blessed to be joined by our dear friend @ivyyjw who usually hosts @sound_exchange on Sydney’s @2ser107.3. She will be cohosting with us + tune into Club It To Death to hear her cohosting with Pete @bootleg_bramley!

Images found in archive: in no particular order ~ radio besties Pete and Ivy, Easey St (still miss u), Mikes at midnight, analogue desks, friendship, broken leg, studio entry surveillance, records, tapes, [redacted], absorbing, Bayu, rambling text line etc.

Speaking of, shout out to the text line which I have now recited twice as my own phone number by mistake.
Oh four hundred oh three one oh six seven !!!

🗣️ 10 YEARS OF SKYDIVER! 🎉

From our humble beginnings on Johnston Street in 2016 to our new home on Smith Street today, it’s been a wild ride to say the least..

A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey over the last decade our staff, customers, DJs, artists, labels, promoters, collaborators, family, friends and the wider community that has supported us along the way. Every record bought, drink shared and conversation across the counter has helped shape what Skydiver is today.

A massive shout out to you all and thank you for being part of it!! We genuinely couldn’t have done it without your support.

Come and join us this Saturday @subclubmelbourne as we celebrate with special guests Luca Lozano & Mr. Ho playing an all night long extended set.. Not to be missed!!

Big Love,
- Mike, Tom & Mark

Public Listening Project returns for its second instalment featuring Netherland’s Nicolini.

Somewhere in the DIY territory between dubby wave, mutant dancehall, low-slung steppers and 180-bpm experiments, you’ll find Nicolini. A project by Nic Mauskovic – also known for The Mauskovic Dance Band and as one half of Devon Rexi.

Joined by essential selectors Soft S & Sayro and Public Listening residents Elsie & Xavier.

The veil lifts. A key figure in the Paris underground, 𝑫𝒓𝒂𝒘𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒈𝒆 (FR) makes his Naarm debut with a special live set, moving through psychedelic dub and leftfield club mutations.

With releases on Lithuanian label 𝘌𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘤 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘴 and Belgian imprint 10.60 𝘏𝘻, this live set distils his world into a focused, dancefloor-ready form. Slow arrivals. Swampy pressure. Cut for the room.

𝑲𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝑴𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒐 (FR) closes the night with a DJ set, pushing the room through bass, ritual rhythms, and experimental shadows of sound. Hypnotic selections drive the floor from slow-burn tension into full-throttle pressure, felt in the body and lingering in the mind.

Doors at 7:30pm. Enter slowly. Leave altered.
