Where am I? How did I get here? Where was I going? Where am I going?

I think I’ve arrived. Finally living in the present. Eyes open and unable to keep my mouth shut.

I’m currently immersed in researching modernist typography, tourist maps and the chaotic energy of the immediate environment. I’m pleased with this recent batch of mixed media drawings.

Remember when taking a good still photograph was both an aspiration and a pleasure? And posting it on FB and/or IG was just a normal thing to do because it’s nice to share something you’ve achieved with like minded people.

Here’s one of the last surviving old style barrows in Ridley Rd Market. Still in use, be it with a touch of celebratory flamboyance making us note that it’s still hanging on in there. Intact, functional and with purpose.
