We’re so excited to share that the 2024 Small World Music Incubator cohort had an unforgettable experience at @globaltorontomusic ! 🎶✨ We didn’t just want to teach the cohort about the music world — we wanted them to experience it first hand!

From connecting with industry leaders and international delegates to vibing with fellow artists from all over the world, our Incubators dove into the scene and built relationships. Some even took the stage, showcasing their work to a global audience!

We want to support our cohort grow and succeed, while encouraging them to take the next steps in their artistic journeys 🚀💫

“What did you do during SWM Incubator’s 3 day retreat?” You may ask 🤔 well, a big part of it was this! Every time they could, the incubators would gather and share these amazing musical moments together.

Small World Music Incubator Program is our signature creative and professional development program dedicated to advance career into Toronto’s music landscape and the Canadian cultural and music scene. It is dedicated to newcomers, refugees, and other equity-deserving musicians in the early stages of their careers who are adapting to a new cultural and professional environment.

✨ This cohort is bringing so much joy to our team and we hope you stick around to share that joy with us!

🌟 So much has happened in the last couple of weeks!

Here’s an update on Small World Music Incubator’s journey so far:

We had an amazing 3-day retreat, where we connected on both personal and musical levels. As a group, we reflected on our journeys as musicians, exploring where we come from and where we envision ourselves heading.

These three days were huge for us! One of the program’s greatest strengths is its focus on community building, and this retreat was key for deepening our connections and fostering support among one another.

We have some incredible months ahead, and we can’t wait to see this cohort grow and explore its full potential together! 🎶
