ADCOLOR ‘26, thanks for opening the door

The door was locked
Not open for me
I didn’t have the skill or matched the pedigree
And for every time I was merely tolerated,
I now know what it feels like to be called in.
The door was never the problem. I just needed to find the room that was built with my name on the guest list.
And i wish expected it
I carried the weight like it was mine to keep,
and now i’m redirecting it
thought the door was a verdict, not a place to meet.
thought the door wasn’t mine to keep
But a room that knows your name is a different kind of air,
and I breathed it in LA, finally unafraid
Knowing i’m to be there.

So here’s to the ones who pulled out the chair,
and the ones who’ll sit in it next, I’ll meet you there.

Had the privilege of being a coach for the @adcolorfutures Hackathon 2026 this past week, hosted by Apple.

Shout out to the amazing Team 3! Kyle, Zaria, Andrea, Leko, Bonney. Was exciting seeing a great idea come together so well under pressure. Received a brief at 7AM and had to complete and present a comprehensive marketing solution in 8 hours. Thanks for having me as your coach!

Apple hosted a fun 2 day experience at the MarCom Office in LA.

Futures got to hear from industry leaders from Apple and the greater creative community.

A quick shoutout to all who made our NYFW event a success! Thank you to everyone who shared insight on the future of fashion.

We’ve been building community in NYC for the past couple years and have loved every second of it!

I’m excited to open up our REFIND Collective community to NYC in the next couple weeks and will be reviewing all applications that have come in so far 🫶🏽
