Transformation of a natural portrait @PrinceBeguin. The work was amazing. Eye catching and elaborative.

There was a unique way on how the natural look and individuals and people had to change withing the covid 19 lock down.

80% of the the population had to wear masks and this all changed everything about portrait photography that stormed the internet.

Great experience. Massive study.

Today is the 1 year anniversary of our paperback book Letters to the Earth, Writing to a Planet in Crisis

Published by @wmcollinsbooks @harpercollins it contains letters from us all - children, parents, activists, scientists, politicians, indigenous leaders and artists inc @yokoono

Introduced by Dame Emma Thompson our paperback also includes responses to the #pandemic from Booker Prize winning author @okriben and Skins star @frejska

Letters of Love, Loss, Hope and Action to a planet in climate and ecological emergency

It comes after exactly 3 years since we first issued a callout for Letters in collaboration with @culturedeclares and support from @the_globe @nationaltheatre @simonwstephens @kaetempest & @michaelacoelweb and many more

We’ve received thousands of Letters since then worldwide. Our book being just a snapshot of what people have to say - with Letters giving voice to people’s hopes and fears as well as to the future, to other species or to the Earth itself.

‘They do not shy away from the terrifying scale of the threat we all face & offer no easy answers, but there is soul medicine in their words. We believe they constitute the largest creative response to the climate crisis the world has yet seen.’ - Anna Hope, author, co-founder and co-editor

Order your book today, from all bookshops in the US & UK:

New episode alert 🚨 #ConversationsThatMatter. From the arts to systems change, this conversation explored different avenues to practice the principles of regeneration. Each speaker brought their unique experiences to the table - that very rich diversity however was soon woven and brought together by the shared and latent impulse to create “A More Beautiful World” (in the words of Charles Eisenstein).

Lisa Shaw of @biomatrixwatersolutions
“How can we see beauty in a different way? #DeepBeauty

@bridget.mck on the intersection between @doughnuteconomics and culture: “What if we put culture in the doughnut?”

"We will never make the fundamental shift that is needed of us unless people sing about it, dance about it, write poetry about it, do paintings about it..."
– @danielchristianwahl

This CTM was hosted beautifully by Justin Hopper @oldweirdalbion. Deep bow and gratitude to our Hawkwood friends for continuing the conversation.

What will it take to restore balance to our world for future generations’ survival?

The focus on sustainable design has led to a great deal of positive change in our shared built environment, but for two visionary systems change thinkers, it’s now time to embrace a radical, regenerative design approach for a truly flourishing future.

Michael Pawlyn, founder of the innovative biomimicry architecture firm Exploration, has joined forces with Sarah Ichioka, urbanist and leader of multi-disciplinary strategic consultancy firm Desire Lines, on a new book which maps out key design paradigms in a time of planetary emergency.

They argue that as a globalized society, we urgently need to reach the turning point in human civilization where everything we do not only doesn’t cause harm, but actually has a net positive impact on the environment. By embracing approaches that restore ecosystems, reunite divided communities, and reciprocally enhance the interdependent health of people, place and planet, their approach to the built environment may be just what the planet needs.

A month ago we transformed the huge sports hall at Prendergast School SE4 into our dance temple; our first indoor dance for our South London dance community. We had a truly beautiful morning and we are back at the same venue this SATUR•DAY at 10am, but this time in the lovely + massive, bright and airy main hall. We cannot wait to try it out with you. The dancers make the dance anyway, but this time we have extra PA sound power too, yeahhh!!!

So please join us for a nourishing morning of Ecstatic Dance medicine. Let your body be your guide and lead you into a weekend of beauty, deep transformation and fun!

Tickets are available in bio with concessions available and special price for first timers and BIPOC community too!

See you on the dance floor! 🙂
