Yes that’s a cold sore, don’t judge me! Cliffhanger has a deep culture of mentorship. With somewhere nearing in on 12,000 different routes, to truly master guiding in Joshua Tree National Park it takes a lifetime. Huge thanks to all the mentors I’ve had in my life!

I love this hobbit hole. It’s very sentimental to me for a couple different reasons. These are the extra special kind of places you will see with one of our guides and likely never find on your own.

Our entire guide team are world class educators, highly talented rope technicians, and know the Park like the back of their hand!

Simply put, Joshua Tree is a big complicated place. It takes a lifetime to even really scratch the surface. Hiring a Guide while you’re here will set you up for the best possible Joshua Tree experience! And if you’re gonna hire a Guide, always hire local!

growing up i had an weird obsession with the rockies which sort of came to fruition when i spent 6 years in Boulder, but recently i’ve been realizing how spoiled i am to have the sierras in my backyard. truly a magical place and i’ve only seen just a teeny tiny bit of it ✨🍀

South Lake Tahoe is my jumping off point for exploring the amazing Lovers Leap. Some of the most iconic rock climbs in the US are here. Climbers get to experience the thrill and beauty of them daily when the weather allows. Stop by the @strawberrystationca for a coffee, snacks or perhaps a piece of climbing gear. If you are lucky you will meet up with one of the guides from @loversleapguides @loversleappetch @heidiwirtz @livinontheledge @sausalitophantom or @daniel_and_nico for some beta or a class. The campground is open and a great place to spend a bit of time enjoying the area. #loversleap #rockclimbing #climbing #climb #climber
