💪𝙊𝙉𝙀 𝘽𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙆𝙊𝙐𝙏💪 So...yesterday I had pretty major dental surgery. Im doing well (bank account isnt 😅) But the surgeon said I cannot lift anything heavy for a few days 😢. - So when you are limited with what you can do you improvise and modify. So I decided to make a workout using only a light resistance band. Is it over exerting? No. Is it better than nothing? Yupp. - 🎥Here is the workout and how to set it up: 3-5 Rounds A1: Reverse Lunge w/ Row x10 each A2: Face Pull to OH Press x10 B1: Banded Pushups x12 B2: Banded Squats x12 C1: Standing Abduction x10 each C2: Standing Adduction x10 each D1: Side Plank w/Row x12 each D2: Deadbug w/Pallof press x10 each Fill The Sleeves Finisher- 4rounds A1: OH Tricep Extensions x25 each A2: Bicep curls x25 each - 🔹So if you find yourself limited from heavy lifting, just starting a fitness regimen, or just want a nice easy workout give this a shot. - #physicaltherapy #pt #strength #training #sportsperformance #rehabilitation #rehab #performancetherapy #physio #movement #recovery #functionalmovement #movestrongpt #mobility #stretch #workout #runners #running #marathon #gym #warmup #movementprep #prehab #health #wellness #exerciseismedicine #movementismedicine #fullbodyworkout

One of the tenants of @thelevelupinitiative is to START before you are READY. Back in Jan...we just WENT FOR IT. It’s still terrifying, but the truth is you’ll never be fully ready. So just start now and take the leap! ⠀ Ps- the early adopter week is still alive and well! Share a post in your story or on your feed and enter in for a free 30 minute coaching call. Let’s spread the level up positivity ❤️💚 ⠀ Tag someone who needs to take the leap!!! ⠀ #Repost @simplestrengthphysio ・・・ "Start before you are ready." ⠀ When you think about it, are we ever truly ready to start any major venture in our lives? Are you really ready to put that down payment on a house? Are you actually ready to have your first child? Do you seriously have no fear making that major career change? Are you ever totally ready to start your own business? ⠀ The answer is no; you can never be entirely ready. The thoughts about failure and enormous amount of overall effort required to make your dream a reality often deter people from even starting. ⠀ However, the key is simply to start; to take action in some way. Because there is never a perfect time, and if you sit there trying to get all your ducks in a row, waiting for that perfect time, you'll never start. ⠀ This is why I am okay with revealing the Level Up Initiative to you all now. Is it 100% ready to go? Is this the final cut? Helllls no! I want to be transparent throughout this process. I plan to fail, and as a result, grow a ton as this develops over time. I hope not only that you will join me during this process, but that it inspires YOU to take the leap on something that maybe you have been contemplating for a while... ⠀ Whether you "fail" or "succeed," lessons come out of it and you become better either way. ⠀ I'd rather take one hundred chances and fail, than never take the chance to succeed. ⠀ #TheLevelUpInitiative

How to live to be 100+ "Typically in America we've divided our adult life up into two sections. There is our work life, where we're productive. And then one day, boom, we retire. And typically that has meant retiring to the easy chair, or going down to Arizona to play golf. In Okinawa, Japan, in the language there is not even a word for retirement. Instead there is one word that imbues your entire life, and that word is "ikigai." And, roughly translated, it means "the reason for which you wake up in the morning." For one 102-year-old karate master, his ikigai was carrying forth this martial art. For another man - a hundred-year-old fisherman it was continuing to catch fish for his family three times a week. The National Institute on Aging gave a questionnaire to the Okinawa centenarians. And one of the questions was, "What is your ikigai?" They instantly knew why they woke up in the morning. For a 102 year old woman, her ikigai was simply her great-great-great-granddaughter. Two girls separated in age by 101 and a half years. And I asked her what it felt like to hold a great-great-great-granddaughter. And she put her head back and she said, "It feels like leaping into heaven." This part from Dan Buettner’s TED talk How to live to be 100+ (see link in bio) came to mind when last night we went to a party, my mother, my daughter and myself – three generations, dressed up, happy and looking good… As we live thousands of miles away, I was looking at my mother who was visiting us for a week, and hoping that she will always have something near her to spark her smile, happiness and meaning to wake up each morning… Wishing it to all of you…! #Centenary #howtolivelong #livelong #longlife #threegenerations #generations #grandmotherandgranddaughter #danbuettner #instamood #instagirl #instadaily #instadailyphoto #instagramer #instadailyphoto #instagoods #instacoolpicture #model #modelo #modele #mannequin #beauty #bellezza #Belleza #красота #модель #красавица #howtolookgreat #comoserlinda #comoserguapa #commentetrejolie
