POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After a few days of (vital!) post-show decompression, high time to say a massive thanks for EVERYTHING - Great Northern Contemporary Art & Craft Fair, Manchester 🙏🥳

It was a bumper weekend and I had an absolute blast across the whole four days 😂🥳

Special thanks go to @annmariegnccf and @vpscholes and the whole @great_northern_events team - both visible and invisible. These events are only made possible via an indefatigable core team and an entire village of volunteers too ❤️🙏

Endless gratitude to Mr R @thatwoodworksteve for the chauffeuring, haulage services, stand backdrops and set up, for endless gophering, evening hot dinners, Edgy Bag modelling, and well, your indefatigable support always ❤️🙏

To my neighbours - @andrewsceramics1 @lynseywalters @emmamonster and our entire ‘street’ - you LEGENDS! Same time/place next year? 🤞🤞

Hannah @polished_grey_jewellery - you do realise we are best friends for life now? 💛And Sophia - so lovely to meet you @function_and_form for a soirée too. Let’s all be housemates again soon?

Inevitably my crafty wishlist is now even more vast and includes:

@lynseywalters - entire range of textile art ‘jewels’

A monochrome (of course!) knitted neckerchief from @marissathereze and a silk one from @moragmacphersontextiles

@andrewsceramics1 ENTIRE range of ceramic animals… which somehow manage to be all true to their creaturely selves AND each have individuality, personality and character too! 💪😮

Ditto for @jose.fine.k exquisitely created beach-treasure characters 🥰

Also coveting about 12 different donkey prints from @jamesgreenprintworks

…and @nicstaceceramics WHOLE range of ceramics and every exquisite ring from the @heatherrajaratnam_jewellery (no photos 😬)

…still daydreaming about the red horse plate from @deebarnesdesigns and every @karent.co.uk portrait…

…and was utterly transfixed by the miniature world of @sjbmixedmediaartist and captivated by @utterly_polly lino prints 😮

Meanwhile, I’ll take @alandawilson_ceramics entire range and will be dreaming about the fine designs and delicious golden-rimmed creations from @lizblyth_designs

…too much more to mention, too few pics taken and words left! ❤️

Goodbye cubicles 32 and 33… what an amazing experience GNCCF has been!

Thank you @greengradsuk for this wonderful experience, your hard work, kindness and support is very much appreciated. ❤️
And my fellow Green Grads…you are amazing and I can’t wait to see what you do next!

I have had 4 days of passionate, kind, insightful and lovely chats with a huge variety of craft lovers.

I won an award from @design_nationuk 🎉
I am truly honoured.

I have so many amazing memories and notebook full of contacts and ideas. I can’t wait to get started!
But first…some sleep.

I hope to be back to exhibit and the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair one day soon. 🤞❤️

A huge thank you to @robtowlerceramics for firing a batch of mugs for me last minute so I could exhibit them here :)

Super proud of @jessyka.designs, who will be exhibiting her beautiful textile designs at The Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair on an award-winning Green Grad stand! 🌿

Jessyka has recently graduated from Falmouth University and has created the most exquisite designs, inspired by her Lake District heritage.

If you’re heading to @great_northern_events, do look out for Jessyka and her wonderful work at Victoria Baths, Manchester, from tomorrow until Sunday.

Wishing her every success! From a very proud Auntie 💚

Hellllo! Excited to be travelling down to Manchester this weekend for Green grads of the North event at Victoria baths. I’ve been weaving away with some of the straw harvested from the spiral, which will be shown alongside some Newly developed photos.
Come have a chat about seed saving, traditional straw craft, and have a look through some of my documentation from the Spiral field!
Will be there Thur eve (preview), Friday- Sunday 9-4.
