We deserve clean air and access to water. The fight against data centers across the country proves that we have what it takes to say enough is enough. We win by telling our stories and by showing up. Clothes mouths don’t get fed, and Dominique Morgan is providing the whole menu on how to win.

Stream the full session, available on YouTube.

Each year this event is like a class reunion… LOL. You see folks you haven’t seen in forever, well… in real life that is. The Black Joy and OUTSIDE of it all warms my spirit. Hey H Street Festival!👌🏽

Another @nabjofficial convention in the books! When Journalism, history, the Black press, integrity in media reporting and truth telling in our stories are all under attack, NABJ is where we congregate for solace, refuge, restoration and celebration. Atlanta owes me absolutely nothing.

Thank you to my old friends, classmates and colleagues who pick up where we left off. And thank you to the new connections who share freely, making introductions and building relationships that help us all succeed in our chosen paths. I missed my girls @adcambron @maryag23 & @brittanyjjacob but next year in Houston, it is 🆙

In September 2004, Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr. took the energy of a voter turnout push and built something meant to last past one election. Now here we are, 22 years later, of culture doing what it does best: moving people to act.

We're not done yet.

Join the movement on Sept 15th at hiphopcaucus.org/live. And if you’re feeling generous, comment HAPPY BIRTHDAY to give $22 for 22 years.

For first-time voters, the political process already feels distant. Dominique Morgan discusses what it actually looks like to show up for the first time: not with all the answers, just with your full self and a willingness to be heard. Listen to the full session on YouTube now (link in bio)

How He Turned a Family Tragedy Into a Powerful Musical Movement | The Caleb Minter Mini Documentary

This is the story of Caleb Minter, an extraordinarily talented R&B and gospel singer who found himself at a crossroads after a family tragedy. Rather than succumbing to the cycle of gun violence that took his brother, Caleb turned to his ultimate gift: music. From his time with the Sunday Service Collective to his current mission, this mini-documentary explores how one voice can turn a dark tragedy into a beautiful movement of healing.

If Caleb’s story touched you, please give this video a thumbs up and Subscribe for more mini-documentaries.

POV: Your Hip Hop Caucus team walking the talk.

Thank you to everyone who exercised their right to vote across the country in this year’s primary elections so far. Never let anyone tell you your vote does not matter.

There are a few more to go, and we want to know if you’ve voted or plan to vote!
