It’s been 10 years since I last raced the @xterraplanet World Championships here in Maui. To be honest I had all but decided to skip this year as well, but @jenfletchtri literally made it happen. I am no where close to where I need to be fitness wise to be competitive but I’m going to go out and give it absolutely everything I’ve got.
I have a giant list of excuses as to why I won’t perform as well as perhaps I could but none of them will help me on race day. So it’s time to get the mind and body ready to suffer cause that’s what it’s going to take to get through this one.
Thanks @lukusk for your tireless coaching even when I miss 80% of my workouts, and a huge shoutout to @jenfletchtri for making it possible to even be here.

Happy thanksgiving y’all. This year has been full of so many blessings, but at the top of the list would be this beautiful woman @jenfletchtri I am extremely thankful for her love and her amazing example of faith for both me and the kids.
@mannyshow84 said in Bible study last Tuesday to “be where your feet are” so I encourage you to take a second today to stop and give thanks for those around you who make your world a better place.
