The moment you get triggered, your brain starts writing a story. The question is whether you recognize it before you start living as though it’s true. #rewrite #triggers #subconscious #subconsciousreprogramming #journalingprompts

This is the work and it’s really F@%#ing Hard, man. But I know how worth it it is. This is memoir writing. ✍️ and guess who has been shaking and crying and going to the gym and processing and journaling and shifting all as part of the process 👋 🙋‍♀️ I didn’t just go and get a degree and creative writing and call myself a memoir writer and then just write a couple memoirs and say I was gonna be a coach… I have been after it for years, not only getting my degree not only writing the memoirs, but getting trauma informed training and shifting and changing my whole life in order to be an alignment with the truth that I have found on the page. This is the memoir method. #memoir #thememoirmethod #memoirwriting #writingcoach

Just starting anywhere is how most people quit writing their memoir. I used to tell writers to just write- write badly - just get something down and build the habit of writing everyday and that’s all true but all useless if your nervous system is disregulated. for a full list of 10 ways to get started on your memoir visit my Substack or my medium. You are worthy of your story. #writeyourstory #memoirwriting #memoir #writingcoach #thememoirmethod

Free Spirited Festival 2026 is in the books. Four years ago, people told us there was little to no market for non-alcoholic drinks in the Midwest. That people wouldn't show up. That it was just a wellness trend. This festival is proof that it was never just about the drinks. It's about community. It's about connection. And it's about helping build a future where the next generation grows up with more choices than we did. Thanks to every brand, vendor, volunteer, and every person who came out to make this happen. This movement belongs to all of us. #nonalcoholic #festivalvibes #midwest #community

⚡️And that’s a wrap, @freespiritedfestival. No amount of monsoon like weather could keep us from having a blast. Thanks to @generationna and @weacreekorchard. Tagging lots of #nonalc fam and brands who made today so, so special. Thank you to @solubrae who made my trip happen. Isn’t that Sundown gorgeous? 🥂 If you’re just discovering #zeroproofnation, hi, I’m Laura (@thelaurasilverman and I’ve been #alcoholfree since 2007. There weren’t any beverage or socializing options then for people who didn’t want to drink booze — or just wanted to cut back. We sure have come a long way since then. ⚡️

Happy friendship day! ♥️ Thank you for being part of my world to all my friends near and far, downloaded recently or years ago into my reality. Not enough space or recent pictures with all of you to have every single one of you here, but you know who you are, and you are pure bombastic magic. 🪄 Shoutout to @josh.burrill @flola82 and @hungrygirlnj ‘cause IG wouldn’t let me tag the pics. 🫠 And @nessymarcillis and @tanya.burrill and let’s not forget @_aitet_… your energy is here, too! ✨

It’s our first in-studio podcast! Be sure to watch the version on the Euphoric youtube channel. Jessa Frances De La Rosa accidentally became one of the first alcohol-free beverage consultants in the country, helped launch one of the first non-alcoholic bottle shops in the South, and built an entire career out of weaving together things that didn't obviously belong together, until they did. She's also a trauma-informed memoir writing coach, a shadow work practitioner, and someone whose story involves a divorce after 14 years, three kids, prior military service, a master's degree in creative writing in Scotland, the pandemic shutting everything down while she was across the ocean for the first time away from her children, and eventually painting a wall on Task Rabbit that led to the job that changed her life. We talk about what the alcohol-free beverage world actually looks like now versus years before, what shadow work actually is and why Carl Jung's most famous line might be the most important sentence you've ever read, why memoir writing is the rawest form of shadow work there is, and why awareness alone doesn't create change, community does. IN THIS EPISODE: 💫What an alcohol-free beverage consultant actually is and how Jessa invented the role from scratch 💫Why mocktails with a bunch of sugar and a paper umbrella are missing the point entirely 💫Carl Jung's famous line on the unconscious and why it applies directly to every complicated relationship with alcohol 💫What shadow work actually is, the difference between awareness and integration, and why awareness alone can actually make things worse temporarily 💫Why memoir writing takes you deeper than journaling ever could, and what it means to write as the child, the adult, and the witness simultaneously 💫The childhood associations we form around alcohol before we ever take a single sip Rapid fire: the best alcohol-free drink she's ever tasted, the one book every aspiring memoir writer should read, and what her shadow would be in one word Listen to the full episode in the link in bio @jessafrances #shadowwork #carljung #memoir #nonalcoholic #alcoholfreepodcast
