More than celebrating Kiyo’s birhtday, with this post I want to thank everyone who has shown Kiyo so much love and affection. It genuinely makes me happy to see her being welcomed with so much kindness, and I’m especially grateful to my friends for receiving me with so much warmth and making me feel so welcome in the Founders Era community. I have so much love for all of your OCs and the stories you’ve created for them, and I’m really happy to share this little corner of the Naruto universe with you all

Thank you for making Kiyo feel so loved, and for giving me so many reasons to love this community, too ♡

🍃 SazaKiyo 🍃

During their childhood and teenage years, some of Sazanami and Kiyouka’s most cherished memories were the moments they spent together, away from the expectations of their clans and the horrors of the Warring States Period, the two found comfort in each other’s company

Whether they were talking about the future, sharing their thoughts, or simply spending time together without worrying about the war, they would imagine leaving it all behind and escaping somewhere far away - somewhere they could live freely

In their own way, they tried to create that world within the little moments they shared - a safe space where neither of them had to carry the weight of the world on their shoulders (except for the weight of Kiyouka piggybacking on Sazanami, of course)

#ɴᴀʀᴜᴛᴏᴏᴄ || 𝐊𝐨𝐣𝐢𝐊𝐢𝐲𝐨 || (𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐫𝐚)

Koji isn’t the most affectionate man in Konoha—far from it. He can be seen as arrogant, insensitive, and overly direct during conversations. Which explains why people often have trouble putting up with him. Perhaps that’s also why when he became romantically involved it was pretty surprising for those around.

Mainly because he ended up falling for his total opposite. Kiyouka is elegant, well-mannered, soft-speaking and kind, a woman who also knows how to hide her games— her intelligence is undeniable, and so is her beauty. How could it be conventional for a commoner from the Uchiha clan and a noblewoman from the Hyuga main family to be together? Surprisingly, even if that wouldn’t be conventional to some, their relationship couldn’t make more sense to them.

Their couple dynamic was seen as quite progressive for their time — there was no power imbalance, nor any obligation to anyone. Their relationship is defined by unwavering affection, mutual care, and absolute trust.

Around everyone else, Koji is reserved, stoic, and difficult to approach, but with Kiyouka he is openly loving, clingy, and surprisingly soft—she is the one of the few people who ever gets to see that side of him. In return, Kiyouka embraces him with the same warmth, patience, and tenderness, making him feel safe enough to lower every wall he’s ever built. They express their love through constant acts of care, gentle teasing, affectionate touches, and a desire to look after one another in every possible way.
