WE ARE AT IT AGAIN! This Saturday, August, 26th. As cliche as this sounds, we are so full of gratitude for each and every one of you that has come once, twice, or every time marimacha is happening. We’re doing it again this weekend and are excited to see new and familiar faces we can stuff with good food, wine, and smiles. See you all Saturday!! 5-9 at @hungryheartpdx 🎨: @heycosmicbug

One week away from the next @marimachapdx ! We’ve been blown away by the turn out and can’t thank everyone enough who’s come, whether it’s for the food, the community, or both! We started this with the intention of hosting a lesbian bar since there are barely any left, with no real idea of how it was going to go. Clearly, you lesbians (and queers) are here for it! We love looking out at a full room of smiling faces. With that, we also want to remind you that we are a first come first serve casual pop up, not an everyday fine dining restaurant. We try each time to improve, but we never quite know what to expect so we want to thank you for showing up, and for your patience while the dining room is full of bodies. We can’t do this without you, and we wouldn’t want to, because you’re who this is for. See you August 26th. We 💜 you!

Not to toot our own horns, but we think this might be the gay dish of the summer. Menu changes coming up for the next @marimachapdx but the strawberry aguachile will stay. We think y’all might start a riot if it goes! 😂 See you queers August 12th!! So excited to wine and dine you yet again!! 📸: @pdxploration #lesbianbar #queer #aguachile

Another pop up that we’re hosting is called @marimachapdx. It’s a Latin focused Queer/Lesbian wine bar that I am actually a part of alongside my partner who’s making the delicious food. It’s happening every 2nd and 4th Saturday through September. I’m particularly excited about this one because it is creating space for me to explore my latin culture through wines that we don’t often see on wine menus while also bringing together queer community. Cheers to creating more queer spaces! 🌈🍷 #gaypdx #lesbianwinebar #queerpdx (art by @heycosmicbug 📸: @pdxploration )
