SOL SUMMIT 🌱 @matriarchmixer X @amoramigas

When community comes together, awareness becomes action, resources become accessible, and conversations become powerful.

Sol Summit was created to bring two communities together through collaboration, connection, and a shared commitment to women’s wellness. From cultural representation to conversations around women’s health, the day was about creating a space where women could feel seen, informed, supported, and empowered.

We brought wellness resources, education, and honest conversations to the forefront, because our health deserves to be talked about, prioritized, and understood.

Here’s to creating spaces that give women their power back, amplify their voices, and remind us that when we come together, we create impact and heal generations to come. 🌷💫

This Sol Summit brought together Latina and Indigenous Women for a cultural health and wellness experience. Being a Navajo and Latina woman, this event was extra special for me. Whether I’m attending a mixer as a guest or offering free massages, I always come back from these events full of life and inspiration✨ I’m so thankful for every interaction and connection made and for the Matriarch Mixer Sisters who always hype me up and push me to step out of my comfort zone 💕

Love days and events like this. Not only did I get to hang with my sole sisters but we were nourished with community, knowledge and culture. Prevention is key, mental health matters and the bigger the earrings the better💝
I do find that attending intentional spaces brings out our light and ideas. I loved our conversations about doing and sharing more for our community. So inspiring✨

Four years of Nopalito. 🌵

A lot has happened in four years, but this past one especially feels like a blur of people, places, projects, learning, growing, and somehow figuring it out as I go.

Nopalito has been with me through so many versions of myself, and I think that’s what makes this anniversary feel different.

This business has never just been work to me. It’s been part of my life.

So this is really just a thank you.

To everyone who has trusted me, supported me, worked alongside me, taught me something, invited me into a room, or reminded me why I started in the first place.

Four years later, I’m still here. Still building. Still learning. Still grateful.

And somehow, Nopalito feels more like me than ever. ✨🌵💕💫

We create joy. And at The Gathering, we did exactly that. 💜

AISES' AUNTIE Tech Collective retreat, The Gathering: Systems Rooted in Care, brought together AUNTIES (Indigenous tech professionals) and Future AUNTIES (postsecondary learners) for a powerful multigenerational experience.

Across technical sessions, restorative wellness activities, community events, and plenty of time to simply connect, we created space to learn, recharge, celebrate, and imagine the future of technology together.

AUNTIE is more than a program. It’s a multigenerational collective weaving together technology, culture, and community to support Indigenous womxn and girls in tech.

Are you an Indigenous womxn or girl in or pursuing tech and want to join the fun? Join the community! Not an Indigenous womxn or girl in tech but want to support? Sign up as a Friend of AUNTIE: aises.org/auntie

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make The Gathering so special:

🎥 angeenoel, for capturing the joy and creating this beautiful video
✨ Our incredible speakers and workshop presenters—@matriarchmixer, @nizhonifoodie, @twofeathersphd, @okpaulastarr, @sal_sees_the_world, and Cas Stouder—for bringing such intention and brilliance to your sessions
🤝 @oxdxclothing, Photography By Roshan, and @talkingstickresort for being phenomenal community partners
💜 And to all the AUNTIES, Future AUNTIES, and members of The Current and Rising Tide who co-created this space so beautifully

Through virtual community, online and in-person programs, events, scholarships, and opportunities across learning and career levels, we’re building a technological future with AUNTIES leading the way.
