Stealthy moves in silence. You thought we fell off?

We’ve been around, sleeping after dark and leaving before light, you just didn’t know we were there. Summer shifts become Autumn missions, feeling so safe.

Just two days on the bike and one night outside feels so much more intense then just another weekend at home... @bivy_nation and @albion.cycling joined together to ride to @bespoked.cc and have a mini adventure beforehand. So much fun, good gravel riding and a „cozy“ night outside.

With constantly changing weather, riders of Mother North have to be prepared for any condition. From frozen rain in the altitude to warm sun in no wind conditions. Lots of layers, lots of patience...this is the Ultra game!

Here's a recap of the third epic day on Sognefjellet and Aurslandvagen!

Before the official start, we took a stroll through the staging area to inspect the rigs lined up for the challenge ahead.

Gravel setups are the unanimous choice across the field, though no two builds look remotely alike. Some cyclists are riding fully kitted-out packhorses designed for cozy nights under the stars, while others are running minimalistic, featherweight setups stripped of every non-essential gram.

Every machine tells a story of personal strategy. These customized rigs are built specifically to endure the punishing terrain and unpredictable elements of Norway’s backcountry.

Those are the Bikes of Mother North 2026!
