More than just beauty supplies, Devine and Defined is about community and connection. Today, we had the honor of spending time with ex-NBA player Delonte West, who picked out this velvet durag. It’s opportunities like these that allow us to uplift and embrace our Black brothers and sisters.

You might notice the paint on our clothes! That’s because on top of Devine and Defined, I also help Amir with his business, “Let’s Paint the DMV.” It was a truly touching moment watching Amir, my boyfriend and an employee, connect with Delonte over basketball. He even got Delonte to touch the ball again, bringing back those familiar feelings of the game.
