Milestone unlocked: Perks of Being a Poet (@_abdul.m1) hosted their first ever event through Commfy. Coincidentally, this was also the first ever event hosted through Commfy. ☀️ The theme of the workshop was obscure words and this community workshop helped me discover the “apricity” in the smile of a stranger on a crowded train in the London cold 😊 Excited to help more communities build and grow on Commfy, and help individuals look for fantastic moments of connection just like this! Click the link in bio to find Abdul’s community and other such wonderful community spaces 😊 #community #poetry #connection #london #loneliness

Coming soon, a gritty action comedy noir following an eclectic band of brothers fighting for survival in a dark, dystopian London. The Nomads follows five young men from the outskirts of London who venture into a fractured world, ruled by greed, violence and survival. For fans of Snatch and The Warriors, this is a homage to all our favourite gritty noirs. This independently created short film is a celebration of identity, morality and resilience. This film has been produced by The Courtyard Studios and written and Directed by Taylor Goodridge. Comment  '💥' and share this with a friend for the chance to win two tickets to the Screening and a £20 Bar Tab! 🎞It's about to get Heavy 🎞 ---------------- 💥THE NOMADS💥 Written & Directed By: Taylor Goodridge A Courtyard Studios Production: @joshfoxdesign @thecourtyardstudios CAST Chief — Taylor Goodridge De'vine — Paola D'Alberto Nyembo Driver — Ryan Naiken Cobble — Caio Lira Gift — Kaanon Eluem Chip — Ben Timi Nuga Whey — Lewis "El Gully" Jamieson Lee — Abdul-Malick Adekunle Johnathan Bright DAYMARES ENFORCERS : Jonas Siaulys Mohammed Yahya Eládio Oliveira de Macêdo Neto Ravella Balaram Chowdhary Lewis Parrish Shamair Khan Tay Morgan Rob 'Muscle shaman' CREW Director — Taylor Goodridge DOP — Luke Mappo 1st AD — Dovydas Arlauskas Stunt Coordinator — Tay Morgan Unit Stills Photographer — Sara Grauso BTS — Nuala Borley Special Thanks to Damon Borley & the team at Build Hollywood. #thenomads #ShortFilm #IndependentFilm #BritishCinema

Nobody was harmed in the making of these photos. The same cannot be said for a few fictional characters. 💥 Behind the scenes moments I captured for @thenomadsofficialfilm The stunt fights, the long days, the incredible people behind it all, and all those little details that never make it to the screen but are part of the story nonetheless #filmscenelondon #indiefilm #independentcinema #londonfilmset #btsphotography
