This has to be the slowest growing plant I’ve ever grown! Swipe to see how big this “Pinguicula gigantea” from @bugeater_gardens was when I got it in 2022 and how big it eventually gets in the third slide. They grow to at least 12” across! None of my other pings have been this slow…is it me and my poor plant parenting skills or is this normal?
This slow growth funny business is not good for my ego 😂

I’ve been using a wicking system to water my Nepenthes for about a year and a half. Results seem good so far. Generally, I don’t top water manually. Allows me to leave them unattended when out of town and provides very stable conditions. Essentially copied @pings_n_things’ setup when I came across it on YouTube.

Had a blast today playing at Lifetime Winter Classic Team Tournament! Definitely learned a lot with playing under pressure and in a more competitive setting. Overall, had so much fun and plan to do more!

I want to take a moment to express gratitude towards my husband. He has been my rock, my crying shoulder, and biggest cheerleader.

I recently lost my job at a place that I thought was my dream setting. It literally broke me and my spirit. I had difficulty sleeping and eating. I felt hopeless.

My husband really helped me during this time of healing. He listened to me, comforted me, and helped me see my worth still.

He helped give me the push to create this pickleball page and helped me find laughter and fun again. He lifted my spirits and encouraged me to spend my time with what I love. I am so truly thankful for this man and blessed to have him as my husband.

Love you Blake ❤️

My Mexican Pinguicula terrarium is now a little bit more than 1 year old and I just love how it turned out 😍 And with the new lights you can already see that there is more than just "green" in this enclosure 💚

Which one is your favorite picture from 1 to 10?

Also, Utricularia Livida spreads through the entire tank and the first flowers appeared 🌸

Here's a recap of our fun gathering at Lucky Shots Pickleball! One of the biggest things that I love about pickleball is the social aspect of it. It's been easy to meet and connect with people through open play. My contact list on my phone is growing with people's last name as "pickleball" 😅.

How many people in your contact list have the last name "Pickleball?"

Today I turn 30 years old! I had an amazing weekend celebrating my bday with friends ❤️

Since my husband's and I's birthday is 4 days apart, we decided to throw a pickleball theme bday party. We booked our bday with Mega Pickle and Pong in Minnetonka and LOVED the facility! Setting up our food and party items was smooth and there were plenty of tables and chairs to use. They were very welcoming and we received a complimentary 15 min pickleball introduction for our friends who are new to pickleball.

All in all, my heart is full of love and fun. My husband and I were happy to share our passion for pickleball with our friends and loved seeing them have fun too.

New nepenthes from @pings_n_things! I got nepenthes x “pennywise” and what we think is nepenthes (veitchii x lowii) x stenophylla. Thanks again Blake!
