Always nice to train with a partner @islamckenna keeping me going and helping with fear on GHDSU 😂🙈

Now time for golf practice and prep for week before Hyrox session tonight :)

New running programme starts tomorrow !

10 months post spinal surgery... Come relearn toes to bar with me.

Whilst we might not be there yet, it's worth noting this is massive progress, 10 months post spinal surgery which turned into post operative infection in my spine, being bedbound for months and I am still in unbelievable amounts of pain.

But I am not giving up!

Adaptive @crossfitgames by @wheelwod I will be seeing you on the comp floor in 2027. The work is just beginning and we will be back...

I can't wait!

Huge wins today!!
We've been working on trying to get both legs working in sync for some time now... For context I'm 10 months post everything going massively tits up.

Before the only way to get my left leg over the kettle bell was to band it and use it in isolation with my arms lifting it.
Today, after our wod, my coach @donnie.beaton found strapping to hold my legs together and move as one... And I managed to get my feet over that kettlebell,as one!

My core is fried and I'm going to be unbelievably sore tomorrow, but this is huge progress and I couldn't be happier.

Also now squatting to a 12" box with an empty bar and able to stand it up again 🙌🏼 all the power is coming from my right leg, but functional movement is starting to click together. Albeit at a much slower pace than I'd like 🙈
