This week, our SCI Dive Cohort visited the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach for a behind-the-scenes facility tour!🤿🐠

As part of our August SCI Dive program, students are not only sharpening their AAUS fundamental dive skills, but also exploring the many pathways marine science has to offer. From animal care and conservation to marine animal research, our goal is to expose them to diverse mentors and careers so they can discover their purpose and find their niche in the field.

Special thanks to @thebayfoundation for supporting this workforce development journey - every experience helps build the next generation and a brighter future for ocean stewards. Huge thank you to everyone at the @aquariumpacific for the amazing tour💙
