Presented by @tortellini.records 🤝 Pracht

16 September / 7-10 pm / @schtreik

@eternal_miaw_ (Copenhagen)
Fast dreamwave indulging breakbeats and glitch vocals. Miaw brings high-energy, ethereal soundscapes from Denmark, with previous releases on Petrola 80 (the label run by Lyra Valenza).

@chakratopics (San Diego)
A unique blend of Western and Ambient. His debut LP strips country music of its human context in search of the universal hook, resulting in expansive, cinematic sounds.

Our dear friends of Pracht will do a whiskey sour to collect some money for their collective 🍋‍🟩🍋‍🟩🍋‍🟩

Dear everyone. Hope you're enjoying the summer, and hopefully are able to find shade when needed..

I've spend some time (quite a bit i must openly admit) finishing up these two new cassettes.
I thought that i would have been able to release them several months ago. But work came in my way, and everything was pushed into an unknown future...
At last, I've shed the body that earns a living, and have such expanses of time ahead of me now. Its wonderful!

Enough talk. Here's some information on the new releases:

Mindevej - Ørnevej - Skovby
A compilation of cassette-recordings made at a summer party, a childhood home and a sundrenched apartment.
Musical generosities from a couple of good friends.

Fen Hollen - Remarkable records of a resistless course
New copenhagen alias Fen Hollen takes a deep plunge into idiosyncratic samplelooping and poorly done reamping techniques.
Small fragments of songs merging with chaotic instrumentals and weird microcassette malfunctions.

One final note:
I've done my best to update shipping prices on BC (they're still kind of outrageous..) and found some small loopholes that makes it maybe a but more accessible in some specific situations.
Don't hesitate to write me, if you'd like to have some other copenhagen cassettes bundled together in the same shipment.

Im shipping out to these distros at the moment - hopefully more will follow:
SATATUHATTA, Word of echo, Sound Ohm and Tobira records.

There's a discount on the new tapes until they hit the first distro- which should be fairly soon. So listen in- and thanks for doing so.

All the best- jakob

(𝓏𝑒𝓇𝑜) is an open series focused on creative experiments for artists to release short-form projects & collaborations. It stems from the willingness to go back to the enthusiasm of spontaneous releases. Find it, package it, release it. we want to return to that simple idea of what a label can be.
