sad song is out now 🎻🎻🎻

crushing sadness with spring 🌞

This song is feels pretty special to us since it changed a lot after making a live arrangement for guitar, a live bass and so on. It also went through eigils studio at Mindevej, where a whole new part of the song came out. Was like a gift from above or something like that!

Release announcement!!! The last release of the year on katharsis is a special take on our annual V/A tradition: "My Petswan Remixed" revisits the band @eternal_miaw_ ’s debut EP, originally released on the Copenhagen label @petrola_80 , and opens it up through five new interpretations. The duo’s cross-pop, UK-bass-leaning sound becomes a foundation for experimentation, and each artist draws out a different aspect that only shimmered beneath the surface of the originals. Together, these five remixes by @drop_foreverr , @j.ludvigiii , @carolinamiragaia , @jjjacobdk and @linea.vissing offer a quieter, stranger, and more spacious reflection of the original EP. The familiar melodies and textures remain, but they’re stretched, softened, or reshaped into new forms, showing how flexible miaw’s sound becomes when filtered through different hands and imaginations.

With the announcement comes the premiere of labelboss jjjacobs remix, one week prior to the full release on december 12 - go listen and pre-order now! Link in bio 🔗 by @zeebra_finch

mila miau #1

https://megahval.bandcamp.com/album/megahval-in-the-sky

“Megahval In The SKY” is a collab by @shubididua and @zeebra_finch and also the first record I’m putting out on mila miau. The music originates from a week of intense recordings in the outskirts of Kolding, DK. These experimentations turned aorund sleep patterns, and involved, samplers, guitar pedals, cd glitch and euphoria which manifests in a record carrying both songs along instrumentals.

Matias took the music back to Berlin where he made final edits, additional recordings, together with mixing and mastering the record.

Produced in Kolding, Copenhagen and Berlin through 2022-2025
