POSTS STORIES REELS

It’s not Saturday night, but our new menus our LIVE!

I couldn’t have asked for a better soft launch these last couple of days - I asked you to come hungry and that you most certainly did, so thank you.

Now we’ve ironed out a few creases and had some incredible feedback, we’re ready for you to get properly stuck into all this new deliciousness.

Some personal highlights for me; a new breakfast bagel for the first time ever, the biggest overhaul our sandwich menu has EVER seen and new small plates that just feel like… us.

It’s all just really, really good and the credit for that needs to go to our chefs, for bringing this to life.

They’ve put some serious graft in - but let me tell you, it’s been well worth it.

All new Breakfast, Lunch AND Dinner menus in OAKWOOD + PUDSEY are here. GET IN! by @thecheesylivingco

If you blinked you might have missed our most recent breakfast bagel menu switch up - this is our take on the classic Bacon, Egg & Cheese, stacked with an American chip spice-dusted hash brown.

With our house breakfast sauce and caramelised sweet onion relish, I’d put this up there as one of the best bites of food we do.

Served in your choice of classic, everything or cheddar & jalapeño bagel made, boiled and baked by hand at @foldfocacceria and delivered fresh to Oakwood and Pudsey every single day.

Available daily ‘til 11:30am… by @thecheesylivingco

This is how we do Sundays in our house…

Cheese fondue, a proper roast dinner with all the trimmings & yorkshire puddings bigger than your face.

Every Sunday in Pudsey & Oakwood, come hungry. by @thecheesylivingco

You know when you have a silly idea that’s just too silly not to?

Forget the kids this halloween, it’s all about taking your dog trick or treating… by @thecheesylivingco

Friday & Saturday mornings are when the week really gets into a groove for us down here at 62 Brussels St.

I still always have that nervous “what if nobody comes?” moment around 9am, but then 10am comes around and there you are, showing up for us again.

As we get deeper into winter and the weather inevitably continues to turn, we’re bound to see less of you in the queue…

So this is a thank you to each and every one of you that keeps prioritising their weekly trip to the bakery over being warm and dry.

*I’m working on something to help with that*

Bakes and bread also available Tuesday-Sunday at all 3 of our @thecheesylivingco locations 🍞 by @thecheesylivingco

Ragu on toast, i’m not sure there’s a more perfect dish for a cold winter evening. With the 48hrs of cooking that goes into making this, it’s a proper labour of love.

Comfort food at its finest, with ‘nduja, smoked pancetta and pulled beef brisket coming together in a rich red wine ragu, served on a toasted slab of our rosemary & sea salt focaccia.

I love everything about this, it’s humble, it’s honest, but most importantly, it’s absolutely delicious.

Evenings from 5pm in Oakwood and Pudsey. by @thecheesylivingco

@thomarcher told me his idea for this intro involved channeling my inner Ramsey for a kitchen nightmares style end of episode ‘hero moment’…

Thankfully though, the new menu launch went off without a hitch and we’ve already got people claiming dishes as their new favourites.

I’m well chuffed. A proper team effort. by @thecheesylivingco

The next phase of our OG @leedscornex locations glow up is well underway and it obviously had to be @boneidol__

A mural designed to tell the story of how we got here - from a lockdown hobby to pass the time, to now THREE sites and our own bakery.

It’s still kind of wild to me that we’ve got a spot in what I’d say is the best and one of the most historic buildings in Leeds.

I don’t think that it’ll every fully sink in.

@boneidol__ strikes again… isn’t she good. by @thecheesylivingco

Next week we’re launching our new evening Autumn / Winter menu and to help give it the lift off it deserves, we’re giving you 25% off the entire bill on night one…

All we ask in return is that you come hungry.

This offers available from 5pm-9pm on TUESDAY in PUDSEY and WEDNESDAY in OAKWOOD only - so booking is advised.

I’m going to leave the contents of the menu a surprise for now, but trust me, there’s a lot to love about it.

This does also mean it’s your last chance to enjoy favourites from our current menu THIS WEEKEND, as we’ll be saying goodbye to things like our Focaccia Prawn Toast… by @thecheesylivingco

Did somebody say cheese?

Same day D.I.Y. gift boxes available in all 3 of our locations, filled with the best of British cheese and local Leeds produce.

Online pre-orders with nationwide delivery for December are now open, I’m just not saying the ‘C’ word yet…

Or just come see us in Pudsey, Oakwood or @leedscornex. by @thecheesylivingco

For our next collaboration, we’ve teamed up with fellow New York-inspired railway arch-dwellers @foldfocacceria 💚

We’ve topped our 18” base in bechemel with a touch of Dijon, blanket coverage of sliced provolone as well as fior di latte, tangles of FOLD’s house Salt Beef, and a garlic butter Everything Seasoning crust. After baking it’s finished off with a thousand island swirl, dill pickle, and a pot of sauerkraut on the side.

We’ve also got Brown Butter Chocolate Chip cookies, baked fresh each day by FOLD, Friday to Sunday. Warm them through when you get home, top them with a scoop of Brickells and you’re in for a treat.

Pre-order next week from 12pm Tuesday 13th, available until Sunday 18th. See you soon! by @thecheesylivingco

Every month at both our Oakwood and Pudsey locations, our resident cheese expert / queen, Hattie, hosts a regular tasting event, the Cheesy Living way…

6 British cheeses, all paired with some things you might expect, as well as some other bits you probably wouldn’t.

For example, smoked Lincolnshire poacher with a pineapple and chipotle relish - it was like one of those cheese and pineapple hedgehog things from the 80’s, but way better.
