MEET THE COACH: TREVOR ⚡️

Meet Trevor Adamo, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and one of the coaches here at Summit!

⚾️ Former Division II Baseball Player
🏋️ 3 Years Coaching
💪 Specialties: Building Strength + Athleticism
🔥 Coaching Style: Pushing the Limit

Trevor’s love for fitness started early—his dad introduced him to the gym at just 8 years old, and he’s been hooked ever since. After playing Division II baseball at Wilmington University and coaching at Cressey Sports Performance, he’s worked alongside high-level athletes and brings that same standard to every client he trains.

His philosophy? There’s more than one way to reach your goals—the key is consistency.

A few things to know about Coach Trevor:

⚡️ Favorite training: Jumping, sprinting & deadlifts
🏃 Least favorite: Distance running 😂
🥩 Go-to meal: Steak & mashed potatoes
🍴 Outside the gym: HUGE foodie
🏆 Two-time Region 15 Champ
💭 Words to live by: “Nothing gets easier, you just get better.”

Trevor’s favorite part of coaching is helping people accomplish physical goals they may not have been able to achieve on their own.

And if you train with Trevor, you can expect him to give you his all to help you reach every fitness and health goal you set.

Ready to get stronger, more athletic, and see what you’re capable of? Come train with Coach Trevor at Summit. 💪🔥 by @trainwithtrevor_

DISTAL HAMSTRING TENDON STRAIN

No two hamstring strains should follow the exact same rehab plan.

Exercise prescription, intensity, and progression should reflect the person, symptoms, and the demands they’re working toward

Small glimpse into parts of our session, Cooking with @trysuji 🔥

DM me for rehab built around you and what you want to get back to 🐻 by @trainwithtrevor_

Had a blast getting after it last week with my not so little brother @jaggeradamo I came ever so close to pulling off that 2016 Cubs comeback too. Shoutout to @visualizefitness.li the gym and the environment are 🔥 by @trainwithtrevor_

Drink Coffee, Lift Heavy, and pet all the dogs. Had a good recovery day with some conditioning. :20 on 1:40 off 6 rounds 6 min break repeated twice… not easy! Onward and upwards!

Upper Body + Core Day
Been trying to incorporate more things that I either stink at or don’t do enough of. I am awful at standing shoulder press. And I’m trying to do more core exercises that challenge me in different ways…like this plank variation that really fires up the deep core and some full range of motion exercises like these decline crunches.

Leg Day @thesummit.boca
Slowly but surely getting this hip flexor right again. See you at @apexathlete.official Miami with some big improvements 👀

You know it was a good lift when it’s filled with so many knucks, daps, and high fives!
Sometimes throwing the program out the window and getting a sick heavy lift in with the homie is exactly what is needed. Haven’t moved weight like this in a while. @nicholasdileone is an absolute beast! Thanks for ripping it with me while I’m back home for the weekend!

Lower body day brought to you by @eatshameless #TrainWithTrevor by @trainwithtrevor_

Acceleration Day + Upper Body Pump

Dealing with an adductor issue currently so sprints were about 85% today but really focusing on technique in the first 10 yards. Times are for 10yd flys and 5yd lead into 10yd fly. Old PR was 1.25 so 1.27 at 85% is solid.

Upper body is pretty self explanatory… get in push strength and leave feeling bigger than when you walked in.

Leg day… Simple but effective, goal was to get in get out and feel good doing it. Keep moving the needle #TrainWithTrevor #legday #cardio #bettereveryday by @trainwithtrevor_

Quick Apex recap…stay tuned for the improvements. Coming for that 4.4 and a sub 7 min mile at the next one. See you in Miami! #TrainWithTrevor by @trainwithtrevor_
