The Future Needs You. And the Future Needs Opportunity.

What an incredible honour to take to the stage at New Scientist Live 2026, ExCeL London, representing @uoceanproject Heights of Possibility (HOPE) and @vayyufoundation .

Alongside @aerosparxrob we brought a powerful message to one of the UK’s leading science events:

🌍 Conservation – Inspiring the next generation to protect our planet.

✈️ Aviation – Breaking down barriers and opening the skies to young people from all backgrounds.

🚀 Social Mobility – Proving that your circumstances should never determine your potential.

💙 Opportunity – Creating life-changing experiences that turn ambition into possibility.

From our exhibition stand and BGA gliding simulator to engaging with thousands of visitors, young minds, industry leaders and the media, this has been an extraordinary platform for HOPE.

We aren’t simply inspiring the next generation to dream about the future. We’re giving them the opportunity to shape it.

A huge thank you to our Vayyu Foundation team, Rob, Eric, the British Gliding Association, Move the Youth and everyone who helped make this possible.

The future doesn’t belong to those with the greatest privilege. It belongs to those given the opportunity to rise.

✈️ WHEN AVIATION, AMBITION & PURPOSE COME TOGETHER! 🚀🌍

What an honour to be invited to the incredible Plane Pull event at @londonoxfordairport, supporting the @kingstrust Million Makers, celebrating its 20th year! 👏

A fantastic example of what happens when the aviation industry comes together to create opportunities, inspire young people and make a real difference.

A huge congratulations to Brenda and Sophie, the @uk.caa, and everyone involved in bringing this brilliant initiative to life.

We fully believe in giving opportunities to young people at our @uoceanproject x @aerosparx Heights of Possibility project and this fully aligns.

Special recognition to London Oxford Airport, @unifi @airbus @volare.aero , and supporting organisations including @aerobility, @dhlair, @theairleague, @leading.edge.aero, @rollsroycegroup @jetcoffee510 and @heliflight_uk 👏

🌍 For me, aviation is about so much more than flying. It’s about ambition, opportunity and changing lives.

Through Heights of Possibility (HOPE) programme, we’re bringing together conservation, aviation and ambition to inspire a generation of young people to rise beyond their circumstances.

🛩️ We’re working towards delivering hundreds of first-flight experiences, opening doors to aviation for young people who may never have imagined themselves in a cockpit.

🌱 Not simply inspiring future pilots. We’re developing pilots for conservation, future innovators, environmental leaders and young people who believe that their background should never determine their destination.

Events like this remind me personally just how powerful our aviation community can be when we unite behind a common purpose.

The future of aviation shouldn’t be defined by where you come from, but by how far you’re prepared to dream. 🚀
