I am grateful to publicly announce the release of my first book, “Dear God” 📖☝🏾. This is by far one of the most important projects that I have ever worked on 📚, if not the most important ✍🏾.
During the course of me writing this book, I received many revelations and experiences that helped to shape my faith and my mentality 🤲🏾. A lot of the events, information, and experiences that took place are documented in this book 📖.
At a point in time, I did not see myself being an author. I did not see much for myself other than failure due to my actions, circumstance and mentality. I deserve nothing; yet God blessed me with much 👑🙏🏾. Therefore, my life has a purpose; and part of my purpose is to reach as many people as I can. Glory be to God alone; I myself am nothing without Him ✍🏾☝🏾🗣️.
Therefore is a solution to our problems that we have not tried yet; and this is part of the message that I am delivering and seeking to continue to deliver 🔊. Many people have tried to serve as saviors yet the predicament has become worse. Politicians, activists, influencers, presidents, cultural leaders, lawyers, people in all categories have not been able to save us from the current predicament that this world is in today ☝🏾✍🏾. Though we value, accept, and appreciate the help of all those who have put forth their effort, there is the only solution that has not been tried yet that is offered in this book 📖.
Thank God first ☝🏾✝️. You gave me this gift, so I will honor you with it. Secondly, thank you to everyone who has supported me on my journey this far. Each of you has served as constant motivators in my life. I am grateful for each of you. I am looking forward to the time when I will be in a position to do more for all of you. Thank you very much.

Mass Incarceration is one of the most expensive and degrading industries that has been set in place. It is indeed slavery, legalized through the 13th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. At Constitution Day, professor Rebecca Beibel and Mercer County College has ensured that those who have lived experience were able to express themselves on this platform.
The system that fuels mass incarceration is motivated by greed, social and cultural control, and hatred for humanity. Slavery is gruesome and has always been the driving force of wealth for this nation. Instead of chattel slavery on plantations, slavery has transformed into prisons resembling concentration camps. The goal has not been rehabilitation or correction, it has been control and greed.
This reality can change. However it starts with those who are first fed up with the reality. The Truth is in front of our faces and it is not being hidden. It’s time to address this structure with the correct approach. Constitution Day was centered on making that approach.

When life is filled with burdens, we now know that when we make each other’s problems “our” problems, we can lean on each other, pour into each other, and become resourceful. There is no need to live or struggle alone when you have community.

The community came out to support, show love, give back, and invest in the community. Major salute to all who helped pour into the community. We’ve been denied help in many areas; however, we now know that together, we can achieve great things.

Major thanks to God, first and foremost. Major salute to all who donated. Major salute to all who came and supported. Major salute to our brothers who helped make this happen. Major salute to the Overcomers Intervention Unit, which is dedicated to being more active in the community. Major salute to Second Chance Mentoring, who went out of their way to pour into the youth and give back to the community. Major salute to Mt. Zion.

Divine missions have become, and are still becoming, reality. Personal missions are being fulfilled.

Accepting reality and Truth is the first stage of our growth. If we don’t accept reality and hold ourselves accountable, we will only continue to become worse. Nevertheless, it’s important that we hear the Truth so that we do not become consumed by lies. The youth—young men and women who are still figuring out their place in this world—should not be subjected to only lies, delusions, and deceptions. The youth should be poured into correctly, with power and words that contribute to their growth, not their demise.

What we see now is a flawed culture and an identity crisis for many people. The desire to be socially accepted has led people to neglect their true personalities and aspirations and conform to what society expects of us and labels us. What we see is evident: murder is praised, drug and alcohol abuse is praised, disrespecting the dead is praised, being sexually immoral is praised, and being deceitful, selfish, greedy, and materialistic is all praised. If people do not conform to these standards, they’re labeled “weird” and criticized simply for being misunderstood.

Why do we only gravitate toward what hurts us, both as individuals and as a collective? When does sincerity become a factor?

The decisions we’ve made and the experiences of our lives should not deter the youth from reaching their full potential. What we do and how we maneuver—it all impacts the youth. Why should the youth be subjected to what we refuse to overcome? Why should the youth have to pay for our decisions?

It stops with us the moment we decide it does.

This is where true growth and prosperity happen: after addressing what’s inside of us—the things that hinder us from reaching our fullest potential.

Community Day was a heartwarming, fun, and outstanding experience 🏘️🌳🥊. Pivotal Point Empowering Project had an amazing first year Community Day. Both youth and adults enjoyed themselves, and it’s safe to say that they community felt like family 🫂🥊🏘️. We appreciate everyone who came to enjoy. Moments like this are to be cherished, and memories are created to be held on to 💭❤️‍🔥. We are looking forward to many more. This is the mission and goal of P.P.E.P., to serve the community 🏠🏐🏟️.

Overcomers Pathway Program is a violence intervention initiative launched by Pivotal Point Empowering Project, a nonprofit organization created to serve the community through social emotional learning, physical wellness, and community outreach.
P.P.E.P. has partnered with New Brunswick’s summer program to pour into the youth and provide new outlets and solutions to the various issues that society faces. By giving the youth the tools to endure the day to day struggles, they are more likely to succeed and respond to situations in a healthy manner.
The more we pour into the community, the better results we get as a collective.

At the AMARD&V program in New Brunswick, NJ, PPEP has partnered with RWJ as well as AMARD&V for the sake of the youth. Three subjects were highlighted here.
1. Identity - Being secure within our self and living within our own authenticity prevents the desire to be socially accepted and thus, accepting labels placed upon us by society that degrade us and lead us into failure.
2. Emotional Regulation - Using boxing as a tool, social emotional learning is of high value. Being able to understand one’s emotions and respond to our emotions in a healthy way is importsnt for the way we conduct ourselves in our personal life and in society.
3. Accountability - Realizing that we have the power of free will and free choice despite limited options, circumstances, and environment. We have the final say as how to live our life.
It has been a pleasure and I am grateful to be able to work with the youth. Through this line of work, I encounter so many great people. It is more of a humbling experience for me time after time.
Pouring into the youth is necessary to prevent avoidable tragedies and to contribute to a healthy, strong and successful generation 🫂🥊.
Teaching the youth is highly important; and using boxing as a tool to teach and pour into the youth is specific to Pivotal Point Empowering Project.

Each of us has been born with a unique gift. One of mine has always been the ability and desire to fight. That does not mean living in chaos or seeking animosity with people. It means having the courage to take a stand—whether it is against oppression, a challenge, a competition, or even myself. Since I was a child, I have been this way, and it has played a major role in my development as a man.

Boxing has been the tool through which I can channel that desire. It has given me an outlet to express my unique abilities and gifts while also releasing the physical and mental stress that comes with the journey of life. Understanding the art and nature of boxing has taught me how to use my gifts in a healthy and disciplined way. Now, I want to teach what I have learned to others as a way to reach them, empower them, and help them.

Fighting has been a major part of my life—whether through boxing, the law, or the many challenges I have faced. Now it is time to fight for a greater cause: to fight for people to choose the right direction, to walk the path that leads to true and lasting success. This is a gracious gift and a blessing that I do not take for granted.

Middlesex County Gun Violence Reduction Initiative 💼.
Pivotal Point Empowering Project had the pleasure of being able to contribute to the Gun Violence Awareness event for Gun Violence Awareness Month 🟠. However, Gun Violence is an everyday issue, it is a daily crisis.
Pouring into the youth with sincerity is one the most productive ways that we can contribute to the next generation 🌎. Whether it is advice, tools, or simply an act of service, all forms of kindness and generosity contribute to the betterment of our people and society.
Never mislead anyone with words or conduct, never influence others to do wrong and place themselves in a self destructive predicament. Words must be used to uplift, actions must be used to encourage, help and motivate. We need to fulfill our part ✍🏾.

Life is a blessing 🤲🏾. Each day is an opportunity to grow, prosper, and elevate — not only as an individual, however as a collective 🫂. Pursuing our purpose is what will lead us to our correction destination. Pursuing my God given purpose is an obligation.
I will not waste my time here on this earth while I have been blessed with freedom and life. Success carries a new meaning, let’s achieve it 🪞☝🏾.

Knowledge is power because it helps prevent unnecessary errors and failures. Ignorance can lead us into the dangers of the unknown, while knowledge prepares us to face what lies ahead.

History matters—not only to understand where we come from, but to avoid repeating the failures of the past and to build a better future. In a culture that often glorifies violence, disrespect, sexual immorality, substance abuse, and hatred, it is important to remember that each of us carries a history far greater than what is often promoted to us or by us.

I descend from the Gullah Geechee people 🌾 on my mother’s side and the Tuscarora people 🐺 on my father’s side—both of whom contributed to the struggle against slavery and the pursuit of freedom in America.

Racism still exists today, but love is greater. Every race should be loved and respected, because that is a commandment from God. No DNA, culture, ideology, or identity can override God’s authority. That is why He must always come first.

Seek God. Seek knowledge. Overcome ignorance. Choose wisdom over destruction.
