POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Grateful to be able to participate in @fujibjj first Worlds tournament in Fishers Indiana. It was a long haul and a long weekend but worth the drive and time.

Thank you to the parents and significant others who support us in the Jiu-Jitsu journey and lifestyle. I know it can be a grueling adventure with long drives, long days, sore buttocks, aching feet, terrible beds and not always the best food. Actually the taco truck there was flipping amazing this time so HUGE win on that end-lol! We appreciate the cheering, love and support win or lose! ♥️

We had a lot of success win, lose or draw. Looking forward to the continued growth on this journey we call the Jiu-Jitsulifestyle! Here's the hardware we brought home.

Justin 🥇Nogi 🥈Gi
Brenden 🥈Nogi 🥇Nogi Elite 🥇Gi 🥇Gi Elite
Nick 🥉Nogi
Grant 🥉 Nogi 🥉Gi

Despite not medaling Nash probably had the biggest divisions and showed an amazing demonstration of skill and listening.

Some students also experienced some tough loses. Jiu-Jitsu is never (rarely actually) a upward linear progression. In my 20 year Jiu-Jitsu career thus far I have had many distractions albeit some worth it (Wife, Kids and Careers) and others not so fun (injuries, moves and mindset) that have had an impact on my journey. In the end what I have learned it that I can take the good with the bad and lead as an example of someone despite the difficulties just didnt quit. Kept showing up where I could and when I could. Some tournament runs were magical others very disappointing but in the end I have been blessed to test myself again and again and for those who do Jiu-jitsu I think that's what it is all about....just trying to suck a little less then yesterday. Lol. Oss! ☠️⚡️🔥

Jiu-Jitsu has a way of melting differences. It doesn’t matter who you are, what you do, your age, your profession, how much money you earn, whether you’re married or not, whether you have kids or you are a kid, your religion, or your history — because when you’re on the mats, none of that matters. That’s the beauty of this sport. It meets you where you’re at and brings out the best version of you that you can be for that day, that moment, and that time.

Hell yeah, Colt — go get 'em!

Colt's heading to Vegas for the Jiu-Jitsu Con Kids Gi and No-Gi competition, and this one deserves a real shout-out. He's the first and only kid in the Axiom community to compete in pit jiu-jitsu — and it was televised. Now he's the first and only kid to travel to Vegas to compete for Axiom Jiu-Jitsu. That's a legacy in the making.

I wish I could be there, but I had to stay home and hold down the fort. I couldn't be more proud of Colt, Brendan, and Terry — and I've got nothing but high hopes for all three of you.

Brendan and Terry will be competing in the Master Worlds blue belt division for their respective ages and weights. Brendan, you're either going out in the first round or you're winning it all. You know how to do it.

Terry, rip those dentures out of your opponent's mouth. Just kidding. Just kidding. But seriously — go out there and kill it.

I love you guys. I miss you guys. Can't wait to watch you all on Flow Grappling, and if anyone wants their match times, I'll have them posted on our Facebook page. Send my love to the whole crew.

Competed at the Fuji Summer Open. No one in my weight class so I jumped into absolute. Both matches went the other way—lost by sweep each time. Went in feeling good, but I didn’t execute my game the way I wanted. Wasn’t as active as I needed to be, even though I fought the whole time. Timing was off. I should have started passing earlier when things weren’t going my way. That part is on me.

Last two seconds of the second match I hit a fireman’s carry and felt a pop and crunch in my hip. Some swelling and tenderness, but I can still walk. Getting imaging once I’m back in the States and running a full peptide recovery stack right now—mainly KLOW for its solid anti-inflammatory support and tissue-repair benefits. If you want the exact stack I’m using, DM me and I’ll point you to OnlyTide.

Grateful for my wife always having my back with unconditional support and love, and for the Axiom team. I love being their coach and leader. Getting to compete and train as a black belt is living a dream I’ve been working toward since 2007. I’m a testament to what happens when you don’t quit. In jiu-jitsu we’re either winning or learning—and this black belt level is a whole different game. Looking forward to healing up and getting back to training.

IT HAPPENED!!! Justin got promoted and received his Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt today from his Professor @_felixgarcia !
Oh how long I’ve waited to make a post like this celebrating him!

He has worked his a$$ off to earn this! I couldn’t be more proud of him than I am in this exact moment. There is lots of blood, sweat, tears, falling down, getting back up again, winning, losing, learning etc to get to this moment.

I KEEP SAYING “DUDE YOU GOT YOUR BLACK BELT.” 😂 God is good and the journey has totally been worth it!

So dang proud of and excited for you!!! by @bachman_bjj
