“Our dogs aka babies are still missing, our hearts are broken, don’t know what’s up or down, constantly waiting on pins and needles praying, there have been zero sightings/leads of them, and we’re exhausted. But for 30 seconds today, we got to laugh together. And Lord knows we needed that because there have been soooooo many years. ❤️🐾”
And sometimes you can be absolutely heartbroken and still have a moment of joy. Both can exist. Plus this ridiculous sound clip has been all over social media and we just had to use it.

UPDATE PLEASE HELP!! (I posted this on FB yesterday)

If you live by HWY JJ or around any of that area…..both of our dogs got out yesterday and we can’t find them anywhere. We searched for hours 😭They are both grey and white(brother & sister) frenchies. I’ll leave pics of them below. I’d love to say they’re chipped but they are not, they have no collars or tags on either😭but one is spayed 🤦‍♀️ The male is Bowser and he’s extremely sweet, not aggressive at all, and will come to you if you call his name. Petunia is very sweet as well and will come when you call her name, if she thinks she’s in trouble or simply wants to do something else she’ll completely ignore you. So if you see her and call her name… make sure she knows she’s a good girl and be super excited. If you see them alone please still try to get whichever one it is, hopefully the other is close behind, and then message us asap.
We have high hopes of finding them but we’re also realistic and are scared of the worst. Keeping the faith!

If you have picked them up at some point today and already have them, THANK GOODNESS! Or if you know who’s picked them up, please let us know. They belong to us in case you’ve been Trying to figure out who they belong to and where they came from. Please message me or any one of us asap and we will come get them.

Last night we had James from Knight and Day recovery(HIGHLY RECOMMEND) out here doing the thermal drone searching for them , but we still didn’t find them. He definitely covered a lot of ground and we’re so appreciative for him. This is actually a really incredible service that I think more people need to know about if you’re missing livestock, pets, or people! Definitely hit him up!

I’ve posted in about 8 facebook groups, we searched for HOURS, knocked on doors, called all local vets, animal shelter, & had thermal drone out to look, this morning Justin and Landen went to go print pics of them to put in mailboxes and search more.

Thank you to everyone who’s shared this post and been so helpful with suggestions and connected us with people we needed to be connected with. We so appreciate yall! Please keep sharing so we can bring our babies home 😭

Y’all so funny story😂😂the other day Justin showed Landen a phone like this and told him to put his phone number in.

NEEDLESS TO SAY…Landen proceeded to TAP EACH NUMBER like it was a touchscreen.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Anybody else’s kids look at one of these phones like it’s some kind of ancient artifact?! 🤣I mean yes the one I’m holding is definitely way before my time even but you get the gist.

But seriously, seeing these old phones brings back SO MANY MEMORIES!

Remember when we actually had to MEMORIZE phone numbers?! Or there was a phone book for everyone’s numbers right by the phone? I still have my home phone number memorized.

Or when you’d stretch that phone cord halfway across the house just to have a little privacy?! 😂

And GOD FORBID somebody picked up the other phone while you were talking! 🫠

Remember no caller ID 😂

Or calling your friend’s house and having to actually TALK TO THEIR PARENTS before you could talk to them?! The AUDACITY! 🤣

Remember be home by the time the street lights come on?

Remember your parents telling your friends I don’t know where he/she is right now but they’ll be home by dark.

There was just something about growing up back then. No texting, no social media, no knowing who was calling half the time. If somebody wasn’t home, YOU JUST HAD TO CALL BACK LATER or leave a message on the answering machine😂
However I did love hearing “you’ve reached …..we’re unable to come to the phone or not home right now we will call you back when we can. Bye! There was no instant anything lol.

As much as I love the convenience of technology, there’s a part of me that really misses those simpler days. ❤️

We didn’t have everybody at our fingertips 24/7. We had to make plans, show up, talk to people FACE TO FACE & on the phone, we wrote letters, and we actually remembered things without Google doing it for us. 🤣

Meanwhile, we’re raising an entire generation that doesn’t even know you used to have to ROTATE A DIAL to make a phone call! 😂

PLEASE tell me your kids have done something like this?! 🤣

And for my fellow old schoolers…what’s ONE thing about growing up in our generation that today’s kids will NEVER understand?!

YESTERDAY was our 18 year wedding Anniversary! I posted this on Facebook yesterday but I wanted to give this a spot on my feed here on IG because I think it’s an amazing tale that needs to be told!

SATURDAY LATE NIGHT THOUGHTS from your favorite former hood rat turned chicken head homesteader-ish. 🐓😂

Isn’t it WILD that I spent YEARS building businesses, making money, and chasing success…only to realize I wasn’t making time for the things I wanted MOST?!

OOOF. 🫠

Somewhere along the way, BUSY became a personality trait.

“How are you?”
“BUSY!”

BUT GURRRLLFFRIIEENNNDDD…

Since when did having no time to enjoy your life become SUCCESS?!

And I’m preaching to MYSELF. BIGTIME.

Bailey recently told me she had my schedule memorized back when she needed my attention and I was always “too busy.”

OUCH. 💔

I’ve built businesses, made incredible money, and worked ridiculous hours. Turns out you can be incredibly PRODUCTIVE while missing the people you’re working so hard FOR.

The goal was never just money. IT WAS FREEDOM.

Freedom to be present with my kids. To homeschool. To spend time with my husband. To go wherever, whenever. To build businesses I believe in. To sit with my chickens without feeling guilty about the 47 other things I could be doing. 😂🐓

If maintaining your lifestyle requires sacrificing everything meaningful, maybe it’s time to reevaluate what you’re building.

Don’t get it twisted. I STILL have BIG goals and believe in building wealth!

But at 40, I’m asking a different question:

“Am I being INTENTIONAL with the life God has given me TODAY?”

Our kids won’t stay little. And someday isn’t guaranteed.

You can be ambitious AND present.
You can work hard AND rest.
You can build wealth without making productivity your identity.

ANYWAY…I’m currently being the passenger princess I was born to be, reminding Justin how to drive properly. 😂

We’re headed to celebrate 18 YEARS of marriage on the 18th at our mini castle! 🏰❤️

Although 18 years feels more like 126 DOG YEARS. 💀🤣 We’ll unpack THAT another day!

For now, I’m enjoying my evening with my best friend. Hope you are too! ❤️

Anybody else learning that being BUSY and being FULFILLED are two VERY different things?

Everybody wants “COUPLE GOALS” until they understand what it actually COSTS to build a marriage that lasts.

I’m not talking about the cute pictures, date nights, vacations, or anniversary posts.

I’m talking about the seasons nobody sees.

The addiction. The betrayal. The heartbreak. The loss. The painful conversations. The moments when you look at the person you’ve spent your life with and barely recognize them anymore.

The moments when you question everything you thought you knew.

Because here’s something I’ve learned after almost two decades of marriage…

LOVE ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH.

You can love someone with every fiber of your being and still have a marriage that’s unhealthy.

It takes two people willing to confront their own brokenness. To stop protecting their egos and start protecting each other’s hearts.

To take accountability without excuses. To recognize the childhood wounds, unhealthy patterns, and coping mechanisms they’ve carried into their marriage.

And to understand that forgiveness and rebuilding trust are two very different things.

But something beautiful can happen when BOTH people are willing to do the work.

You begin to see each other differently.

Not through the lens of resentment, betrayal, shame, or everything that’s gone wrong.

You begin to TRULY SEE the person underneath all that pain.

And you realize that loving someone isn’t just about wanting them in your life.

It’s about becoming someone who is SAFE for them to love.

Someone who protects their heart, even when nobody’s watching.

Someone who chooses honesty when lying would be easier. Humility when ego wants control. And accountability when excuses would feel better.

Because the goal was never simply to STAY married.

The goal is to build a marriage where neither person has to sacrifice their emotional safety just to keep the relationship together.

And maybe that’s what REAL couple goals look like.

Not two perfect people who never hurt each other.

But two imperfect people who are willing to surrender what was broken and allow God to build something healthier than what they had before.

Not just a marriage that survives. A marriage that

19 YEARS CLEAN & SOBER. ❤️ 9/12/07

Nineteen years ago, I couldn’t imagine making it to this life.

I was broken, completely disconnected from myself, convinced I’d die before I ever had the things I dreamed about, a husband, children, a family, a LIFE.

But the truth is:

I didn’t want to die. I just didn’t want to keep living the way I was living.

I wanted something different so badly. I just had no idea how to get there.

And today?

I’m alive. I have an incredible relationship with God & my husband. Two incredible children I genuinely don’t believe I would’ve had if I hadn’t gotten sober.

Entire chapters of my life only exist because I chose recovery.

If you’re new to recovery: YES, it’s worth it.

But getting sober wasn’t just about putting down drugs and alcohol. I had to face the shit I’d spent years trying to numb.

Because drugs and alcohol are addictive, but so is escaping pain.

My biggest advice after 19 years?

ADDRESS THE UNDERLYING SHIT.

For me, healing also meant realizing I’d spent years trying to fill a God shaped hole with everything but God.

And when that changed, my life changed.

This year, I got the sweetest reminder of just how much. 😭

Friday night, Justin, Bailey, Landen, and Ty, Bailey’s boyfriend, whom we love to pieces, brought me flowers, my new addiction Bubs 😂, and the most thoughtful card so I’d wake up to all of it today.

I feel so freaking loved. 😭❤️

The girl who couldn’t imagine this life now gets to wake up surrounded by people celebrating that she’s still here.

THAT is recovery.

I’ve officially been clean and sober longer than I ever used.

And 19 years is pretty damn cool…

But the LIFE is the best part.

If you’re thinking, “I don’t want to die. I just can’t keep living like this,” hear me:

Not wanting THIS life anymore doesn’t mean you don’t want a life.

You may just have no idea how beautiful the one waiting for you can be.

I sure as hell didn’t.

But after 22 treatment centers something clicked.

Thank you, God, for every day I never thought I’d see.

Recovery didn’t just save my life. It gave me one.

Love you Justin for being my

I’m just gonna say the quiet part out loud that makes ZERO SENSE TO ME…

“But it’s cheaper at Walmart.”

Okay…but when did “cheapest” become the standard we use for our kids? YIKES. 😬

We’ll research the safest, best rated car seat.
We’ll research the best, most prestigious, academically rigorous schools we could give them.
The right sports equipment.
The shoes that actually fit.
The foods they’ll actually eat.

We’ll spend HOURS researching how to give our kids the best opportunities, safest options, and every possible advantage.

But when it comes to something they’re actually putting into their bodies, suddenly the deciding factor becomes:

“Yeah…but this one is cheaper.”

Make that make sense. 👀

Then you tell someone how toxic things are and they roll they’re eyes 🤯

I’m NOT saying expensive automatically means better. It doesn’t.

I’m saying PRICE shouldn’t be the only question.

What’s in it?
How is it made?
How much are we actually having to use?
Is it giving our family the support we bought it for?
And what is the actual value we’re getting?

Because we bought the cheaper melatonin gummies from Walmart..

Our son was taking 3–5mg, and he Was still waking up in the middle of the night.

Now he takes ONE 3mg RestEz Smart Chew. Out like a light and no waking up in the middle of the night.

So yes…the Walmart bottle has a cheaper sticker price.

But my kid’s wellness isn’t where I’m interested in winning the “who found it cheapest?” competition.

Especially when shopping here has also given me almost $4,000 in FREE shopping cash toward household essentials.

So when you tell me:

“But Walmart is cheaper…”

My question is:

Cheaper on the shelf…or a better VALUE for your family?

Because those are NOT always the same thing. 👀

And maybe we should be researching what goes IN our kids with the same energy we use researching everything else we buy FOR our kids. I’m just saying for us this is a no brainer because the value we get here will always be better than “it’s cheaper at Walmart.” It’s like comparing tomato’s to oranges and we simply don’t do that because well

There are some seasons of marriage you don’t talk or post about while you’re in them. The truth is they’re private & must be protected.

Another truth…

You’re too busy surviving them. Praying through them. Fighting through them. Fighting for each other through them.

Justin & I have walked through a season that has been brutal(understatement)

Hard truths. Tears. Grief. Accountability. Looking at parts of ourselves we would’ve rather avoided and asking God to expose what needed to change in BOTH of us.

And somehow… it has brought us closer.

Not because everything we’ve walked through was good, but because we decided we weren’t going to waste the pain.

We learned to tell the truth/communicate. Own our garbage. Forgive w/out pretending something didn’t hurt. Set boundaries without guilt. Fight for each other instead of just fighting with each other.

If you notice us doing things differently now… just know it’s on purpose.

Intentional.

Literally everything we do right now is being filtered through:

Does this honor God?
Is this good for our marriage?
Is this who GOD is calling us to be?
Is this good for our family?

We may not show up to everything anymore.
We may say no when people expected a yes.
We may protect time we used to give away.
We may disappoint people who were accustomed to having access to us.

We’re okay with that!

Because we’ve learned that our yes belongs to us, & so does our no.

We don’t have to do something simply because it’s expected of us.

Our marriage doesn’t exist to meet everyone else’s expectations. It exists to honor God.

Maybe that’s why Dangerously in Love hits differently right now.

After 19 years together, I don’t love this man with a naive love that thinks marriage is supposed to be easy.

I love him with my eyes wide open.

This season tested us.
It exposed us.
It refined us.

It has made us better humans, better partners, & better friends. The Power couple.

Still healing. Still growing. Still learning.

But most importantly…

We choose God & still choose each other. On purpose.

So if you see us moving differently, we are.

And somehow, after everything we’ve walked through

Use code OT-JJC10 to grab yours!

Wolverine Blend –

They named it after the one who heals what shouldn’t.

In research labs studying tissue repair, two peptides keep showing up together for a reason.

BPC-157 — the gastric-derived compound investigated for its role in angiogenesis, cytoprotection, and localized repair signaling.

TB-500 — the thymosin β4 fragment studied for actin sequestration, cell migration, and systemic remodeling.

Together they form the **Wolverine Blend**.

One vial. Complementary pathways. Designed for researchers exploring how the body might accelerate recovery when both local and systemic mechanisms are engaged at once.

OnlyTide supplies it research-grade: high-purity, COA-backed, lot-traceable, and priced for serious volume work.

Because sometimes the most interesting questions in regenerative research start with a name that already carries weight.

I’m not going to convince you that you need more freedom.

One day…

Life will do that for you.

People see this trip and think it’s about the beach.

It’s not.

This is what having options looks like.

Years ago, I wasn’t chasing vacations.

I was chasing the ability to say yes to my life instead of always asking someone else for permission.

Because eventually…

It might be the denied PTO.

The missed family moments.

The unexpected bill.

The job you’ve outgrown.

The Sunday night dread.

Or the moment someone you love needs you, and someone else controls whether you can be there.

That’s when most people decide they want another option.

My hope for you?

Don’t wait until life forces your hand.

Build while you still have choices.

You’re allowed to build the lifeboat before the ship starts sinking.
