My dear community, It is with great excitement that I’m writing today to announce that the BECOME online course is finally LIVE! Link in bio and you can find at peytoncallahan.com/become ! This has been a labor of love, and I am honored to be sharing this work more broadly beyond my in-person groups! BECOME A Mother Daughter Journey into Womanhood is an online course designed for mothers and daughters to discover the changes that occur during puberty—not only in the body, but also in the mind, and heart. This is a 10-module, recorded video course that is accompanied by comprehensive PDFs to support your learning, support cards that share ways for your daughter to care for her developing body, our seasonal BECOME online circle, and access to our BECOME community. Thank you to the many mothers and daughters who have helped shape this course ❤️ We are so thrilled to be sharing this with you. Love, Peyton by @become__social
Welcome to BECOME! An online course designed for mothers and daughters to discover the changes that occur during puberty—not only in the body, but also in the mind, and heart. This journey guides you through all the changes your daughter’s body (and inner being) will go through during puberty, and will support you in providing the framework and tools as you walk with your daughter through this beautiful threshold. This course includes a series of video teachings that guide you and your daughter through puberty, the body, and the menstrual cycle—while also weaving in emotional support, practical preparation, and a deeper understanding of nature’s rhythms. You’ll learn how the body changes, how the cycle works, how to prepare for a first period, and how to approach this time with clarity, confidence, and connection. This course exists to remind you that the power is within you, and that this time in your daughter’s development is beautiful and important. The vision is that this information supports you, and her, in her becoming… Because a girl’s gotta be prepared. Period. by @become__social
Hi, I’m Peyton! I’m so glad you’re here! For two decades, I’ve had the privilege of guiding women and men into parenthood as a birth doula, and for the past nine years, guiding them through the conversation of their daughter’s changing body. When I first became pregnant, I realized how little I understood about my own body. AsI birthed my children and supported others as a Birth Doula for 20 years, I realized countless women shared this disconnect from their innate, cyclical nature. This disconnection often begins in puberty — a pivotal phase of physical and emotional change. When my daughter entered this phase, my mission became clear, and I developed a program to empower young girls. My daughter and I have shared this program with mothers and daughters across the U.S. - fostering connection and embracing the beauty of change. Because understanding our bodies is more than a phase — it’s a lifelong dialogue. And every girl deserves to be prepared. Period. I live in Austin, Texas with my husband. We have three kids, two dogs, a cat, a pig and the most recent addition, a baby squirrel! Together we are the change we want to see for our daughters! I’ve got you! by @become__social
Save this one, Mama. Here is what I want you to understand about your cycle and your daughter’s: each phase holds deep guiding wisdom that is available to you to sink into and live from. It is a rhythm. And every phase of that rhythm offers something beautiful for you. During your bleed, your body says rest. Release. Go slow. Warm soup, herbal tea, a heating pad on your belly, earlier bedtime, less noise. Let yourself move slower. During the follicular phase, energy returns like spring after a long winter. Follow the sparks. Open the windows. Try the new thing. Begin. At ovulation, you are ALIVE. Let yourself be seen. Gather the people you love. Speak your truth clearly. Be in the world. And in the luteal phase, the body begins to turn inward again. Protect your energy. Nourish deeply. Honor the sensitivity. Deeper truths might emerge. Listen to what they have to say. When you know your own rhythm, it supports you in living in accordance to your cyclical nature, in alignment with your inner seasons. Save it. Share it with a friend who needs it. And if you want to go deeper into teaching your daughter to understand and honor her own cycle. Comment BECOME and I will send you the link. 🤍 #cyclesyncing #menstrualcycle #cycleliteracy by @become__social
Your body will start to change. And you will become a woman. These changes are not something to avoid, or be embarrassed about. They are something to understand. To prepare for. Every body goes through this stage of life. Every woman you know has been right where you are. And while the changes may feel strange, or awkward at first, this conversation does not have to be. Your body is doing exactly what it was designed to do. So we are going to talk about body parts. And periods. And all the things that make us girls, and then women. Because understanding your body changes is important. And you are not alone in this. 🤍 If you are ready to go on the journey of learning about puberty with your daughter, comment BECOME and we’ll send you the link! by @become__social

Here are some questions to begin! Do you remember the questions you had when you were your daughter’s age? Perhaps you can invite her to ask you those same questions!
