I am thrilled to announce that I have received two fellowships to attend both the National Orchestral Institute and Festival (@noifestival) in Washington, DC featuring performances at the University of Maryland (@theclariceumd) the Washington National Cathedral (@wncathedral) and Carnegie Hall (@carnegiehall) as well as the Aspen Music Festival (@aspenmusicfest) in Aspen, Colorado as a New Horizons Fellow.

Thrilled to also be performing in Orlando, Florida and in Philadelphia for the Toronto Blue Jays (@bluejays) and Philadelphia Phillies (@phillies) for Saturday Night Baseball (@mlb)

NOI+F brings together aspiring orchestral musicians, conductors, composers and arts administrators from across the country for a month of dynamic music-making and professional exploration. Chosen through a rigorous, cross-country audition process, these young artists present passionate and thrilling performances at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center and in College Park, MD and Washington, D.C. The NOI Philharmonic was nominated for a GRAMMY for “Best Orchestral Performance” in 2018.

Founded in 1949, the Aspen Music Festival and School is regarded as one of the top classical music festivals in the United States, noted both for its concert programming and its musical training of mostly young-adult music students. The eight-week summer season includes hundreds of classical music events: concerts by three orchestras, recitals, chamber music, operas, classes, lectures, and family programs. In the winter, the AMFS presents recitals and robust music education programs for local youth and families.

This past June, I had such an incredible experience at the National Orchestral Institute + Festival! It was some of the most rewarding weeks of music and friends that I will ever have and I am truly grateful for my extraordinary colleagues who pushed me to my limit each and every day. Until next time @noifestival 💛

We performed over a dozen concerts around the DC area at the Clarice Performing Arts Center (@theclariceumd) the Washington National Cathedral (@wncathedral) as well as on tour at Carnegie Hall (@carnegiehall) and worked with some truly incredible conductors including John Morris Russell (@maestrojmr), Valentina Peleggi (@v.peleggi), David Alan Miller (@maestrodavidalanmiller), Daniel Hege (@dan_hege99), and our incredible music director Marin Alsop (@marinalsop.conductor) in performances joined by the incredible Time for Three (@timeforthree)

We also had the amazing opportunity to work with some of the greatest faculty in the world including Chris Gekker, Billy Hunter (@billyhunter1812), Barbara Butler, and Micah Wilkinson (@micahtrumpet) who continue to inspire me each and every day.

A true honor to share the stage with this phenomenal orchestra and these amazing musicians who will always have a special place in my heart.

Last night, I had the pleasure of performing with the NOI Philharmonic (@noifestival) for its debut at Carnegie Hall (@carnegiehall) as part of the “United In Sound: America at 250” series featuring Time For Three (@timeforthree) conducted by our music director, Marin Alsop (@marinalsop.conductor) who I have had an immensely wonderful time sharing the stage with on several occasions in the past couple months!

On the program was Gabriela Ortiz’s (@gabrielaortizcomposer) “Antrópolis” as well as Kevin Puts (@composerkevinputs) “Contact” which we performed with the legendary string and vocal trio! The second half featured Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances from West Side Story” as well as “On The Town” which were absolute highlights!

The performance followed by a wonderful reception with many of the incredible donors that made the evening possible. I am so grateful to be performing with this incredible orchestra and am so excited to continue this amazing tour back at our home at the University of Maryland (@theclariceumd) and at the Washington National Cathedral (@wncathedral)

It has been such a fun last few weeks performing my very best with the very best people you could ever ask for!

Last month, I had the incredible opportunity to join the NYO-USA Alumni Chamber Orchestra (@nyo.usa) to perform Aaron Copland’s “Quiet City” with the fabulous Marin Alsop (@marinalsop.conductor). It was such an honor to perform the piece with Jacks Pollard (@jackspollard_) and some dear friends of mine from NYO-USA 2024.

Then we hit the road to perform at the Berks Jazz Fest (@berksjazzfest) to open for jazz piano legend Emmet Cohen (@heyemmet) alongside some of the most phenomenal talent and rising stars in the jazz scene. It is my pleasure to introduce the newest jazz group on the scene, The New Jazz Standard.

Back in New York City, I had an amazing week with Maestra Alsop once again, this time with the Juilliard Orchestra (@juilliardschool) at Carnegie Hall (@carnegiehall) performing works by Copland, Barber, Still, Bernstein, Tower, and an incredible encore by James P. Johnson entitled “Charleston”

Along the way, I also had the great opportunity to perform in masterclasses by both Phil Smith, former Principal trumpet of the New York Philharmonic as well as Brandon Ridenour (@b.ride.music) trumpeter with the American Brass Quintet (@american_brass_quintet)

Next up! Next week we take center field to perform “God Bless America” for MLB (@mlb) and the Philadelphia Phillies (@phillies) and then we hit the road on a jam packed summer including performances in Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York, Orlando, and Aspen! Stay tuned!

I am thrilled to announce that I have won and accepted the Principal Trumpet position with the Northern Antarctica Philharmonic Orchestra beginning in the 2026-27 Season. The pictures are from my incredible trial week performing Vaughan Williams’ Sinfonia Antartica. So excited to perform in the Igloo Performing Arts Center and work with Maestro Yannick Nézet-Pénguin

I truly would not have been able to achieve this without the support of my teachers, family, and friends who have pushed me to my limits particularly by doing mock audition rounds outside in the dead of winter.

Juilliard415 on tour in Toronto, Canada! 🇨🇦

A couple weeks ago I had the great pleasure of going on tour with the premier early music ensemble of The Juilliard School (@juilliardschool), Juilliard415, performing the music of Rameau in collaboration with the top baroque ensemble in Canada, Tafelmusik (@tafelmusikbocc). We performed four concerts during our Toronto residency for an absolutely packed crowd every night! It was such an incredible opportunity and I am overwhelmed with gratitude to have made new memories and such an incredibly welcoming family in the baroque world with these fabulous musicians.

If you would’ve told me five years ago that I would be touring the world with one of the top baroque ensembles in the country, I would’ve said “you’re crazy because I don’t like early music” but the experiences I have had with Juilliard415 have made me fall in love with the style and I am so eager to keep learning more!

What a year! 2025 was a year of many firsts and new adventures. From playing in front of 50,000 people and making my principal debut to hiking the Grand Canyon and climbing a glacier in Alaska, this year was without a doubt incredible!

Beginning the year, I performed with my fabulous brass quintet at Alice Tully Hall (@lincolncenter) and performed in my first opera to finish my first year at The Juilliard School (@juilliardschool). I began the summer in Arizona and Utah visiting nine National Parks including the Grand Canyon but just before heading out west, I showed how the orchestra can really rock with Carnegie Hall’s Link Up Orchestra! (@carnegiehall) Back in NYC, I performed in Lincoln Center’s (@lincolncenter) Summer for the City festival for a celebration of Julius Eastman with (@runningamoc) all while heading back and forth to Washington DC to take part in the National Symphony Orchestra (@natsymphonydc) Summer Music Institute! (@nso_smi)

The 2nd half of the year is where things really started to get crazy! I headed on a journey to Alaska and performed on a cruise ship while hiking glaciers and mountains including Mount Denali! Just days after getting back, the Philadelphia Phillies (@phillies) invited me to play the “National Anthem” in front of thousands! Unfortunately, they didn’t make it far enough where I would’ve been cheering them on while performing “God Bless America” for the MLB (@mlb) National League Championship Series!

Heading back to New York to begin my 2nd year, I started the year with the National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America All-Stars in a performance for Carnegie Hall’s Opening Night Gala (@carnegiehall). On the side, I began my journey with Baroque trumpet and made my debut with Juilliard415 on tour at Yale University (@yale) with the Yale Institute of Sacred Music (@yaleism) all while preparing two fabulous programs with Juilliard Pre-College and my principal debut with the Juilliard Orchestra!

It really was such a fantastic year and I can’t wait for 2026! Thank you all for supporting on me on this incredibly journey and here’s to 2026! taken in 2025 by @bugleboy2006

Just wrapped up an incredible past weekend with The Juilliard School Orchestra and had a little super-senior moment with the Pre-College Orchestra (@juilliardschool) at Alice Tully Hall (@lincolncenter) in two phenomenal programs!

Friday night in the preparatory division, we had a fantastic performance of Shostakovich’s 10th Symphony along with a world-premiere by Patrice Rushen (@patrice.rushen) conducted by the newly appointed Principal Guest Conductor across the street at the Metropolitan Opera (@metopera), the fabulous Daniele Rustioni (@danielerustioni)

Then right back at it on Monday night, I made my principal debut in the college division for a truly unbelievable experience performing Brahms’ 4th Symphony as well as playing the solo 3rd trumpet part of one of my all time favorite Strauss works, Don Quixote! It was such an awesome opportunity to work with Nicholas Carter (@carterconductor) of the Stuttgart State Opera (@staatsoperstuttgart). It’s rare to have the opportunity to really connect with a conductor so well in such a short amount of time. I hope we cross paths again some day!

So grateful to share these wonderful opportunities with some absolutely incredible musicians who continue to inspire me to do better and better each and every day! Looking forward to 2026 to play some absolutely awesome repertoire!

This past weekend, I made my concert debut on Baroque trumpet! I am so thrilled to begin this journey on this instrument and learn a completely different side and history of the trumpet.

I performed two concerts with Juilliard415, the primary historical performance ensemble at The Juilliard School (@juilliardschool) alongside Yale University’s (@yale) auditioned historical chamber choir, Yale Schola Cantorum (@yaleism), in two performances of Handel’s incredible oratorio, Jephtha, at both Lincoln Center (@lincolncenter) and at Yale University.

I am so grateful to have played alongside my phenomenal teacher, one of the finest performers of Baroque music in the world, John Thiessen. He has been so inspirational and such a joy to work with.

So excited to see where this new part of my musical journey leads and looking forward to future projects with Baroque music!

This past week I got to perform alongside some incredible fellow alumna of NYO-USA (@nyo.usa) as part of the NYO-USA All-Stars at the Opening Night Gala of Carnegie Hall’s (@carnegiehall) 2025-26 Season! It was so great to reunite with old friends and finally meet some familiar faces who have been my heroes and role models for so long!

We were joined by the phenomenal Yuja Wang (@yujawang.official) for Tchaikovsky’s thrilling Piano Concerto No. 1 and we were led by the baton of the extraordinary Daniel Harding. It was an absolutely incredible performance and I am so grateful to have been a small part of it!
