NOI 2026 — What an unforgettable month with the best people

This summer I was invited to be a part of the National Orchestral Institute + Festival! Having the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall and the Washington National Cathedral under Marin Alsop was an honor along with playing such good repertoire all around in many of our other concerts! Thank you to all of my friends, teachers, and family who made this possible. I’m already missing the faculty and friends, but hopefully one day we shall cross paths once again. Forever grateful for such a rewarding experience!

What an incredible experience getting to perform in Carnegie Hall with the @noifestival Philharmonic and @marinalsop.conductor! Getting to do West Side Story in the hall it was premiered in back in 1961 was surreal, and it will definitely be one of my favorite memories I look back on for the rest of my life. To make it even better, my family AND my childhood piano teacher were able to make the cross country trip…

Thanks so much to @timeforthree for performing Kevin Puts’ “Contact” with us, and to Aidan, Wesley, and Spencer for absolutely holding it down and making this such a cool trip 🎵🎺

2 more concerts with Maestra Alsop, then it’s on to the last week of NOI with Shostakovich’s Tenth Symphony 🔥

Offstage Roman Festivals and Pines of Rome with the @noifestival . So much fun! Was great to meet and hang with the next generation of professionals, they sounded fantastic on a tough program.

Freshman year ✅
From dreaming about it to finally living it. This freshman year was full of challenges, music, stress, late nights, and moments I’ll never forget. There were difficult days, but also so many memories, people, and experiences that made everything worth it. There’s still a long way to go, but honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better beginning!
