I celebrate myself this international women's day.
And yes that's me wearing a bridesmaids dress and crocs!
I've been thinking long and hard about how I wanted to write this post and I'll admit it's been difficult. It's been a stressful few months for me dealing with personal issues that ultimately stopped me being able to run this business properly. Worst of all my mental health suffered and I found myself in a deep hole of darkness. It hasn't been easy.
I celebrate myself today becaue if the last year and half has taught me anything it's that even when I'm at my lowest I still push through and I'm pretty cute too.
I like to be honest with you all about how I'm doing because guys I'm made up of more than cake (40% at least though) one day I'll like to create a space where we can have conversations about working in hospitality & running a business while juggling home life and mental health struggles.
Of course I couldn't have made it this far without the help of some very special women in my life. Constantly checking in, giving advice, wiping my tears and quite literally saving my life in these last few months through what has been quite honestly the worst experience ever. There aren't enough words.
@lopeariyo @sisterwomanvegan@terri_mercieca @lovezae love you all! Special mention to
@akwasibmensa & my brother
@rachidesb and to all my friends on and offline and family I haven't tagged but have places in my heart.
And if you've made it this far thank you for continuing to support me and order from me and for having patience with me.
