What a surreal day! Definitely not my final form. Squatted an unofficial Canadian national record, benched, and hit a PR in deadlift. No excuses for bench—it just wasn’t quite there that day, so we scratched my 3rd attempt to save some energy for deadlifts.
This was the first time in almost 8 years that I’ve been able to fully dedicate myself to both training and nutrition, and it was a game changer. We got serious again in April/May, and in just 5 months, I added 25kg to my meet total. There’s still plenty of room for growth in all three lifts, and I’m eyeing 800+ at nationals 😈🔥. Huge thanks to
@alfred.reformance , who’s had more patience working with me over the last 7 years than Mother Teresa herself. Now, we can finally keep this momentum going, and I can truly be an athlete again.
Big shoutout to
@a7canada for gearing me up before the competition. Their equipment and clothing aren’t just stylish—they’re also super practical (and I’m not just saying that). I got the A7 Pal belt just 6 days before the meet, and it felt amazing—better than my SBD belt, in my opinion.
And
@ryankolesarpowerlifting, my day one training partner, having you handle me at this meet brought back some serious nostalgia.
Thank you
@movement.fp for letting me compete! The atmosphere was incredible, and the experience was top-notch, not just for me but for all the lifters.
