We’re celebrating a huge announcement for Downtown Jackson… the @museumtrail Capitol Green Connector is officially underway! 🙌
The greenway will connect from LeFleur’s Bluff all the way to Jackson State, providing a protected pedestrian corridor through the heart of downtown. This project has the ability to bring new investment to the capital city, but more importantly reconnect our neighborhoods and offer opportunities to live healthier lifestyles.
Here’s to a more walkable city! 👏 We’re looking forward to the progress and hope to see the next section opened in early 2026. #DowntownJackson #WalkableCity

This is going to be an excellent place to run and ride. Going all the way from the Lake to downtown will be pretty much better than the Trace. If they just had better tree coverage on more of the trail for the summer months it would be completely perfect with this addition. I'm excited
