I’ve been thinking about this post for a while. 2025 was a bust in many ways but the one joyous constant for me has been stage photos. I’ve been very lucky to have gotten to shoot different stages this year and I am forever grateful for being trusted with those opportunities.
I’ve tried to include as many of you as possible - if you spot yourself, let me know!
There’s something about knowing you captured someone’s big moment, especially if they were so nervous but you can prove through photos that they killed it each and every time. It feels good to dedicate time to the community in this way.

@captamelia and their help when I was photographing MegaconLIVE Birmingham stage. (Also - happy birthday! :P)
@manylemonsuk for being my partner in crime and constant support when we’re tackling MCM Stage. I learn more from you every time and I truly enjoy our little camp at the front of the stage.
@_agi_cosplay for *everything* - your support of the cosplay community and everyone in your team is inspiring. I can’t wait for Crowns Finals next year and how amazing that’s going to be!
My apparent PR manager @thechloecorner reminding me - frequently - that I am loved.
@eufiemoon for harassing me CONSTANTLY with photoshoot ideas (featuring @paindepeche sometimes too)
Also my silly bunch of friends who have always been there to lift my spirits when inevitably the darkness threatens to seep in. You all know who you are. I’m grateful for the reminder this year of what real friendship and support look like.
2026 is *my* year. I’m not just saying that - it’s the year of the Horse. Which is my year. I have a Japan trip, I hope to have more stage opportunities and I am also hoping that I will be able to get more location-based photoshoots or photo-weekends completed. 2026 *will* be amazing.

You’ve captured so many joyful moments and a truly unforgettable year of cosplay! I always look forward to seeing your pics whenever I’ve entered a masquerade as I know, and seen, that you capture more than just a moment but the essence of what every cosplayer brings to that stage. I cannot thank you enough for all you do for our community and looking forward to all the more marvellously creative adventures ahead~!
