On September 2025, Ethan captured this special shot of our A340-600 from the Terminal B garage at Boston Logan Airport. As his favorite aircraft, he had been chasing this exact angle for years and finally got his shot during the last month of scheduled A340-600 flights to Boston! And his journey doesn’t end there: he’s also planning to head to Washington Dulles to capture the final two flights. 🤩✨

📸: @boston_planespotter.ejl A special encounter above the Atlantic! Captain Chris was flying an A350 from London to New York when he spotted our A340-600 just 1,000 feet below, traveling along the same North Atlantic track. Flying at Mach 0.86, he slowly overtook the A340-600 at Mach 0.82, capturing this unique moment. With 25 years and 15,000 flight hours on the A340 during his 45-year career, this aircraft holds a special place in his heart. ✈️♥️

📸: @captainchris Last August, Toby flew from Boston to Frankfurt on flight LH423, which he had booked specifically to experience our A340-600. He was hoping to capture the sunrise lighting up the aircraft’s engines, and luckily, everything came together perfectly for this beautiful shot! 💺🌅
