2026 — Our Last Year Here
For the past 10 years, The Old Red Barn has been home.

But what many didn’t see…
is that for the last four years, something has been shifting behind the scenes.

The barn sits on my parents’ dairy farm.
When we started, we believed we would one day grow into both — the dairy farm and the tourism business, side by side.
But life doesn’t always unfold the way you plan.

The succession of the farm at Glen Park Holsteins wasn’t meant for us.
And that meant… we would have to move.
At first, it was truly devastating.

This place holds our story.
Our beginnings.
Our risk.
Our growth.
Our family.
Letting go hasn’t been easy.
It’s been painful, with a lot still uncertain.

But in the middle of it all… clarity came.
As much as we love this place, we’ve also felt the limitations.
We haven’t been able to expand infrastructure.
We’ve been confined to a seasonal model.
We’ve outgrown what this space can hold.

And maybe… that is the point.
Because what’s next requires more.
More land.
More freedom.
More possibility.

We’re now searching for our next farm.

A place where we can grow food right on the land and serve it directly to our guests.
Where the restaurant isn’t just seasonal. Where we can host accommodations, farm stays, workshops, and retreats. Where the vision can expand in the ways we’ve only dreamed about until now.

So while it’s hard to say, we are moving on from Glen Park Holsteins.

But we don’t believe this is the end. We are excited about what the future holds for The Old Red Barn… with different soil to grow in.
And through it all, we hold onto this: We trust that God is leading us to what’s next. We know that He is the author of our story. He holds the pen… & we trust Him that it will all work out.

We’re already working on what’s next.
You might even say… we’re enroute to something more.
