I love how this graced my feed as I was just getting over my self doubt about a couple events I’m currently planning and whether or not I want to continue doing it all… I do, because of exactly what u stated. I want to build community and bring people together. I don’t care about being considered a DJ myself nor do I care if the events make me money… I just love seeing people enjoy themselves and forget about their troubles for a few hours Especially lately, it’s so hard to ignore the plights that we all face in our own ways But music, like food, is universal and binds us all with shared mutual passions It bridges our differences without words (because we don’t even need to understand lyrics to enjoy the music behind them and food needs nothing other than to be nourishing to all our senses as well) Thank you I can keep going now And I won’t stop ❤️
