David O

Details of my Abbey Fellowship Award at The British School at Rome from Jan - March 2026 are now online at the Abbey Awards website. So it goes…
British artist David Osbaldeston’s work moves fluidly between drawing, print, painting and collage to explore power relations between the personal and systemic.

Extract from David’s ‘Meet the artists’ BSR blog ….further info see link in bio

“What became evident was a need in the studio to position each pair of paintings with photo documentation as posters in a bid to close the gap between the work and its wider context”

The artist would like to express warmest thanks to The Abbey Council and all at The British School at Rome for the facilitation and support in the realisation of new work.
