NFA 2026 was an absolute whirlwind in the best way! So glad to see so many friends from different phases of life all together 🥹 I was (probably a bit too) busy but so grateful for the opportunity to perform and present multiple times:

🪈 a lecture recital and research poster with @amrutha_koteeswaran, including the NFA premiere of @reenaesmail’s piece Pathways of Desire (a @flutenewmusicconsortium commission)
🪈a duo recital with @dougdeflute and @chenyvonney (our side quest to Seattle will have to be a separate post) - performing @araleeflute and @garethmclearnon arrangements of favorite works for 2 flutes and piano
🪈 a full recital with @emissaryquartet of our album repertoire, with composer @chankaiyoung.composer in attendance!
🪈 coordinating the junior soloist competition and masterclass (with amazing clinician @adameccleston_iii) - always a joy and inspiring to hear these young performers absolutely shred at the flute
🪈 helping out with the @flutacious team all week - thank you for being my home base amidst the chaos!!

All of that combined with seeing many friends, former teachers, and meeting new flutists from all over the world! I wish I got pictures with you all! The @nfaflute team is INCREDIBLE and works tirelessly to put on such a meaningful and edifying week for us all. Thank you @danielpardomusic @paolarincones for planning such a beautiful event 👏
