Induction training on #ProtectingAndEmpoweringAgainstChildExploitation (PEACE) @genactafrica. A national research initiative to inform Tanzania's response to peer sexual violence among young people. The research will cover five (5) regions: Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, Dodoma, Urban West Zanzibar, and South Pemba.
In enhancing inclusive efforts to protect and prevent GBV, I will be part of this research representing @juwauza, identifying the challenges facing young people especially those with disabilities in fighting sexual abuse, particularly among peers.
It's a journey of knowledge acquisition, but it also explores the challenges young people face regarding GBV. Let's join hands to ensure young people are free from all forms of GBV and have a safe space to learn, access livelihood opportunities, and sustain their lives.
