Turps Banana

“The recent Turps Summer Intensive showed how productive and rewarding an 8 week programme can be. It was fantastic to see this cohort of international painters all coming together to make their work whilst being supported by the mentoring and peer-to-peer discussions. A big thank you to all the painters, mentors, visiting artists and guests who contributed to such a successful Intensive!”
–Scott McCracken, Turps Summer Intensive Programme Leader

Thank you to all the Summer Intensive painters for making this programme so vibrant, and for fostering such a strong sense of camaraderie and mutual support. Alongside an impressive level of studio productivity, there were crits, artist talks, gallery visits, studio visits, impromptu lunches, dinners, and pub catch-ups, and the final exhibition. It was a wonderful celebration of the spirit of Turps.

Thank you to all the mentors and visiting artists for their generosity, insight, and support throughout the course: @scott_mccracken_ @virginiarverran @katrinablannin @matt_lippiatt
