We’re so excited to launch our new guest chef series Nighthawks with @yiannismexis of @pyro.restaurant on Monday 2 November for an evening of fire-led cooking, bold flavours and plenty of Hellenic touches.

Drawing on memories of Greece and experience in Michelin-starred kitchens including Elystan Street, The Ledbury and HIDE, Yiannis will be bringing five exclusive à la carte specials to complement our menu on the night.

Expect Pyro’s signature spanakopita pastel de nata, sea bream with green olives & caper leaves, Iberico pork skewers, Cornish lobster with blood orange avgolemono, and Dorset lamb with lamb fat flatbreads & smoked anchovy yoghurt.

One night only. Monday 2 November.

We’re so excited to welcome George Ormond as the new Executive Chef at @thebarbarynottinghill.

Former Head Chef at Angela Hartnett’s Michelin-starred Murano and, most recently, Lita in Marylebone, George brings French, Spanish and Italian classical training to The Barbary’s North African-inspired menu.

Growing up near Bath and spending his summers fishing along the Welsh coast gave him invaluable insight and a natural connection with food and where it comes from. At just 25, he became Head Chef at Murano, maintaining its Michelin star for three consecutive years. At Lita, he championed premium British produce, from Scottish lobster and Cornish turbot to Hereford beef.

His arrival marks an exciting new chapter for The Barbary Notting Hill, with a selection of new dishes now joining the menu. We can’t wait for you to experience what’s to come. by @studiopaskin

This is a good one…

This September, we’re bringing some serious food and flavour to the island – we couldn’t be more excited to announce that @studiopaskin will be joining us at GATHER.

The team behind @barbarylondon and @palomarsoho will be curating two one-off feasts: the first built around sharing plates and long, star-lit evenings in The Courtyard, and the second an evening takeover at our sister taverna, @mikronisi_restaurant.

“We’re excited to bring The Barbary and The Palomar spirit to Peligoni this September – fire, spice, the sun, the sea, and dishes made for passing around the table. We’re already having fun planning the menus and imagining being there; we love the island and it reminds us of our childhood. Exciting news on Rupert Street...

We’re thrilled to share that Simon has been promoted to General Manager of The Palomar!

Simon joined us in April 2023, and has since worked across the group, including @barbarylondon Neal’s Yard and Notting Hill, before returning home to Rupert Street last year.

A familiar face to many of our guests, we couldn’t be happier to see him step into this role.

We’re excited to announce that we will be heading to @peligoni in Zakynthos, Greece this September for GATHER with an opening night feast from @palomarsoho and a restaurant takeover from @barbarylondon.

From 22nd - 25th September, GATHER will take over Peligoni with live music, DJ sets, magical performances, creative workshops, world-class watersports, long-table feasting, restaurant takeovers, grounding yoga, and fun fitness classes.

A kaleidoscope of performance, creativity, feasting and movement, GATHER is Peligoni’s Greek-island holiday with a festival spirit. Imagine a week of music on the decks in front of the sea, dancing with friends old and new, starlit Courtyard feasts, free-flowing rosé onboard Odyssey, waterfront yoga, and long, leisurely days soaking up the sun.

Earlier this week, we hosted our first International Women’s Day lunch and In Conversation with the inimitable @maryportasofficial and @vivgroskop at The Barbary Notting Hill, bringing together a brilliant group of women to share perspectives on leadership, collaboration, and the power of solidarity.

Today, on International Women’s Day, it feels even more meaningful to reflect on that conversation — and on the collective effort to create more opportunities for women.
