3D Flower Art Workshop for Mother’s Day Gifts done! Thank you Chyrel and Rae Lou Creative for showing us how to make these intricate masterpieces for our real MVPs. Thank you Chef Kathy and A Taste of the Philippines for the mouthwatering food and outstanding hospitality. What an amazing collab.

And to the Broskis. Thank you. We may all come from different backgrounds, cultures, and traditions, but the way we come together and the example we want to provide for our kids, makes our community special.
Hats off to you guys.

Not all heroes wear capes,
But all Broskis try to be heroes,
For their kids.

A lot can change in 5 years…. It’s great to go back to where it all happened with new additions ;) We were so happy to bring our precious baby boy to experience one of our most special moments. Here’s to growing together as a family and creating more special moments. #proposalanniversary #newparentslife #newparents #familytime

What a difference 8 years makes. I last ran @soldierfield10 in 2017. That race was probably my worst race I can remember. It was hot, I was aching , and I didn’t have a great time. That was also my last race before I started training with @chicagoendurancesports . Fast forward to 2025, and I’ve build up my endurance, strength, confidence, a made a bunch of great friends, and I really love running . ( something my 2017 self wouldn’t say ) . Running changes everything. Here’s to doing it as long as I can!

#MedalMonday Another marathon ( #4) in the books! First marathon since 2019, and it was great to be back to running races. Got to run the @freepmarathon Detroit Free Press Marathon in Motor City and Windsor, Ontario on Sunday 10/20! Detroit and Windsor does its right and this is a wonderful race that showcases the cities! Had a PR by almost 8 minutes! Thanks to all the CES @chicagoendurancesports coaches, fellow pacers and runners ( especially the Lincoln Square Purples) and community for the focus, fellowship, and support during another great summer training season. Thanks to all my friends and family that continue to support me in this endeavor!

Special thanks of course to my love Briana @brileebri who chased me around the course (logging 9 miles on her own) to cheer me on , supply pickle juice , and biofreeze the heck out of knees when the mileage got long.
Running changes everything and it has certainly changed me. You might be wondering what’s next? Well I decided to double up this year and will be running the Indy Monumental Marathon in less than 3 weeks! Stay tuned …. #runningchangeseverything #runchi #itsallaboutthejourney #doublemarathon #marathon #marathonfinisher

Thank You.
@chicagoendurancesports @fleetfeetchicago
for the 18weeks of training towards the Chicago Marathon 2024.

The 18 weeks that have had me go through not only physical but mental strength.
It was not easy but I had a training group that showed up when I couldn’t for myself & carried me on through those miles while we completed anywhere from 3,6 to even 20miles.

The last month before the Chicago Marathon ‘24
from September to October was one that brought me back to April of 2011.
While so many times I wanted to give up.. the planned workouts, schedules & teammates/coaches carried me through.

Life happens & the grind doesn’t stop.
18 weeks of hard work, discipline & endurance brought me to that finish line.

🤍 @david_arzate03 @lospapasdel.muchachito for working with me through my training schedule in the early AM’s including sundays & wednesdays.
To the amazing coaches/pacers that have impacted my training journey with words of encouragement to the point that we now have swapped phone numbers & even emails.

Some highlights from this past Saturday's @runstreet Chicago Summer Art Run in Logan Square. It was so great to see everyone. We had amazing weather, a lot of fun and saw some great art. I'm looking forward to doing it again in October!
